Someone went hunting for the American Sailor Moon pilot

I think the most interesting thing to glean from this is that it explains where the hell this toy idea came from -

DeMarco reveals another reason One Piece got kicked out

yeah it's unlikely he's gonna let them turn Luffy into some kind of Manwhore but again, we don't fully know what Oda is and isn't being allowed to add to One piece by his publishers he recently confirmed that one of the characters had sex with another character and he apparently said he wanted to reveal it earlier but his Publishers felt that it was too inappropriate -
I stumbled across this my little pony Video (my apologies in advance you don't have to watch it) and aside from her Mr. Enter-esque style she DOES raise a good point if you didn't write a character as a redeemable villain....you can't realistically redeem them without changing everything about them Ironically this has actually been an issue with EVERY SINGLE VILLAIN in DBZ, yes even Vegeta Toriyama never wrote his villains to be redeemed, but when they got popular rather than give them intense redemption arcs he just said "they are good now" but left them assholes I'll start off with Piccolo.....Piccolo was never redeemed at all....he was born to Kill Goku, and he achieved that goal, his only "redemption" was that he completed his mission and was no longer honor bound to accomplish that mission, he's basically like a Drone bee, he existed for one purpose and once that purpose was fulfilled he was just....there.... with Vegeta Toriyama actually stated he was meant to die in his first appearance and never come back, but then the Publishers realized the readers liked him and told Toriyama to keep him around, at which point toriyama began a VERY drawn out redemption arc for him.....which IMO only worked because it took a VERY LONG TIME for that redemption to actually happen so it was easier to accept, had Vegeta suddenly became good after being a homicidal maniac it would not have made ANY sense, so having him still be an asshole for a long time SORT OF worked because by the time we accepted him as a good guy he'd been neutral for so long we no longer viewed him as evil, they basically destroyed who Vegeta was originally written as, and rebuilt an entirely new character with the same name from his wreckage, which is possibly why he's so OOC in Super, it's because from a personality standpoint, This Vegeta and This Vegeta are actually completely unrelated characters using the same character design I bring this up because

I assume Oda knows that slapsick hannah barbera gags don't work in live action the same way they do in animation...outside of parody and that the LA OP will have a less cartoonish tone.......but you never know -
I was gonna say....

Toei has a history of Charging unreasonable and absurd prices for their series (like charging full price for an entire anime series for every single SEASON of Sailor moon), so it doesn't surprise me that price was a factor in OP getting kicked Toei can basically only blame themselves -

guess he's decided to play it safe by doing what Hiro Mashima Keeps doing....which is just remaking his previous series with slightly redesigned and renamed main characters -
Unsurprisingly, Toonami will air Attack on Titan S3.

ironically I enjoy both classic Dragonball and DBZ as separate entities and I don't think trying to mix their styles works -

both clasic DB and DBZ had humor but Z leaned far more towards action Super leans more towards comedy and the action feels tacked on just to make it more recodnizable to DBZ fans basically it feels like they wanted to make a new dragonball but knew a dbz sequel would be more well recieved -
hes entirely right, any possible appeal this series could have had was just totally fucked by the fact that they kept backpedaling from all the logical conclusions at literally every turn they acknowlage that not all humans could afford the immortality serum, logical conclusion = Klaxosaurs are the original humans the show = nope, totally unrelated klaxosaurs aren't human they reveal that the kids disease is a ploy logical conclusion = the kids rebel because of the deception the show = nah they just come clean and cure it at the last second Mitsuru and Ikuno are revealed to be in love with same sex characters logical conclusion = Mitsuru and Ikuno fall in love with one of the other characters who have ALSO expressed an interest in same sex contact (like Zorome since he tried to kiss Hiro) the show = nope Mitsuru is marrying and fucking Kokoro because she said she's gay friendly and Ikuno is gonna get told that only Klaxxosaurs are allowed to be gay because "SILLY LESBIAN GAY IS FOR NON-HUMANS!" the nines are introduced with some of them piloting in same sex pairs logical conclusion = plantation 13 is lying about only heterosexual pairings working and Ikuno and Mitsuru rebel and prove otherwise the show = it's because the 9's are Klaxxosaurs and Klaxxosaurs are a one gender species......even thought that still shouldn't explain why they can pilot in lesbian pairs and the humans can't it's almost as if the entire show was just trolling the viewers by dropping hints that lead to theories...then throwing them out as soon as those theories appeared to have merrit

admittedly Toriyama is a fucking terrible writer he admitted he planned for Vegeta to die and never come back after their first battle but his publishers pointed out that Vegeta was popular, AND that if he killed Vegeta there'd be no set up for the upcoming arc, so he left Vegeta alive he then chose to basically SORT OF retcon Vegeta from being a literal homicidal maniac into a nice person who'd been "brainwashed" into being a homicidal maniac due to abuse, abduction, PTSD and survival instinct (namely him crying and begging Goku to avenge their race showed that he basically did what he did because he had to and didn't actually want to do it...even though previously he said he did it for fun)....BUUUT then turned around and made Vegeta still be an asshole and jealous of Goku even though if I recall the last thing he did in the Namek Saga was smile at Goku for keeping his promise to avenge Vegeta and the Saiyans basically in Z Vegeta was stuck in a constant state of being Goku's friend.....then turning around and saying he hates him after its been established that they're friends now, and it was obviously just so they could keep the status quo of Vegeta and Goku being bitter rivals going Super is kind of the same except it's more "solid" that Goku and Vegeta like eachother....Goku's just so stupid that Vegeta still yells at him a lot -

admittedly I never had THAT much of an issue with GT's comedy the questionable choices IMO came from them de-aging and de-powering Goku then somehow having Vegeta still be too weak to step in and take over after Goku had been regressed to his 12 year old state if Goku were regressed back to his 12 year old power level vegeta would by default be the strongest person on the earth, and logicially would usurp Goku as the protagonist....but for some reason a 12 year old Goku was still stronger than a fully grown Vegeta that, and If I think they aren't using Vegeta to his full potential in Super they REALLY weren't using him in GT since all he did in GT was get insulted by Bulla Super's final arc is also a return to form, since it basically ditches the dragonball style humor in favor of action, the animation style even reverts to classic DBZ's animation style -
