to be fair this was when dieing had SOME amount of impact since back then it was stated someone killed could only be revived once after Dende becomes a thing suddenly the balls can revive people as many times as you want so death stops having ANY actual impact (I recall in classic Dragonball they also had a time limit of a year and a qualification that the person's body needed to be preserved to revive them)
