agree 100% being on call sucks, especially at no extra pay.

you need to figure out what you want most. sounds like you got a nice set up at work where you like your co-workers and you ok with pay but you are getting bored with your work and you want more pay. if i were you then yeah, i'd take the transfer and prepare for whats to come and hope for the best. kind of sucks you have to be on call and work weekends but this could be your ticket out to something you want.

the environment around here should be everybody's problem. spamming a large portion of the board promoting the harassment of women is a problem. even if he's joking or not.

i know there are many here that feel the same way as i do but there probably is about an equal or even a larger group of people that dont care. that is why im trying to gauge the community here to see how everybody else feels. if it's just me overreacting then i'll just put him on ignore and that will be that.

i didn't want to make this thread for that same reason. like you said, the man desperately craves attention and any amount of it will get him off. i tried taking a different approach by reporting all his threads but that didnt do me any good as i got told that it was annoying. could put him on ignore but that doesnt really solve the problem for everyone else.

i never gave him that much thought but you could be right. he's been posting the same stuff for all these years now and for what? that's a line of questions i dont want to get into. but i doubt if we are helping out anyone in this case. eventually nut cases act out if they dont address their issues.
