This last episode is what a would call a near perfect recap episode mixed with a wonderful where are they now wrap up. Some animes can't really do either well, but Hunter did pretty well all in under a half hour. I honestly enjoyed the hell out of Hunter x Hunter's second anime series, which did a wonderful job of adapting all the manga they had to go off of at the moment.
