    It is quite mysterious that there are no dubs yet for the 2nd cour of Bleach: TYBW, since it's about 2 weeks later than they appeared for the first cour, but perhaps some strike shenanigans are at play.

    Zero Day, Part 1 actually did pretty good on Thursday night: https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/08/tv-ratings-for-thursday-17th-august-2023.html ...as did Dr. Stone and Shippuden during Toonami: https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/08/tv-ratings-for-saturday-19th-august-2023.html All 3 of those placed in the Top 50 18-49. One Piece landed at #60 but all premieres got over 130K and 0.06, rounded off at least. https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/08/tv-ratings-for-sunday-20th-august-2023.html?m=1 Last but not least, note that ACME Night's Emoji Movie actually made the Top 150. The Justice League vs. Teen Titans movie last week did not.

    What the hell are you babbling about!? Toonami was FAR from obsolete 8-9 years ago! Was streaming prevalent? Of course it was, but in those days, Toonami was still able to get the hot stuff, like Parasyte, JoJo, and Gundam. And they DID get Demon Slayer Season 1 just 4 short years ago, LESS than 4 in fact! It's really funny that the same group of people pining for Bleach TYBW and Demon Slayer Mugen Train and beyond also decry that they can't get anything but sequel series--they ARE sequel series! Acquiring them wouldn't solve the problem!

    Second. Episode 5 ended on a cliffhanger with the team breaking up, but this one is far more brutal. Also notice it used the same background music as Episode 5's ED.

    To be fair, this was the Mxy episode, not Zero Day, Part 1. It will be interesting to see if it can manage to buck the trend.

Not only that, but it actually beat My Adventures With Superman, which landed at #315 with its Thursday premiere. https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/03/top-200-cable-reruns-week-ending-26th_01243089880.html?m=1 The American Dad episode which led-in to Toonami made the Top 200, but unfortunately MAWS on Toonami did not.

    Going to see The Smashing Pumpkins tonight, so I doubt I will catch this one, at least, not until Saturday. Might still be up at 2 so I can watch it on the app with the West Coast as I drift off to sleep, but I doubt I won't crash just as soon as I get home. Tomorrow is still a workday, after all!

    Well, my work computer is disabled so I might as well update this. For once I can honestly say it's not like I had anything better to do!     On right now, 8/13/23. Began at 6 PM. From 2016, an animated TV-14 movie which could have ended up on Toonami, but wound up here instead. ACME NIGHT has decided to bless us with another "mature" DC movie!
