  1. Well, looks like the IGPX episodes at 2:30 AM on the 11th and 18th are just gonna be reruns of the ones airing during the bonus 2 AM hour on the 4th: "Win...or Lose" is the title of Episode 2.
  2. I have almost no doubt in my mind that they will. I mean, they COULD delay, but why?
  3. The only problem is Dr. Stone kinda gets screwed by this scheduling scheme. It's gonna randomly switch back and forth between 12:30 and 1 depending on what they do with Demon Slayer, when it should probably be leading off the block as it did briefly I believe in 2019. Or has it EVER lead off the block?
  4. https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/03/top-200-cable-reruns-week-ending-26th_01243089880.html?m=1 Not bad, Shoegaze Episode 1, not bad at all! It's quite mystifying to me that FLCL isn't rerunning at 2:30 in November and December, but I guess they figure IGPX will do better...
  5. If Demon Slayer is gonna be THE Midnight show from now through whatever Hulu already has, maybe we get 11:30 back in 2024 for stuff like Ninja Kamui and Lazarus? That would make this move make sense. IF we get both 2021+ seasons of Demon Slayer, that means the following: November/December 2023: Mugen Train Arc January-mid March 2024: Entertainment District Arc Late March-May or June 2024: Swordsmith Arc Ninja Kamui and Lazarus would make great lead-ins to Demon Slayer, but would they simply jettison it to 12:30 after Dr. STONE ends or cut back to one One Piece?
  6. IGPX Remastered continues! And Double OP returns. Gone are the FLCL sequels that dominated September and October, though maybe they show back up over the holidays. But with Demon Slayer, Dr. Stone, and IGPX back and officially in full effect, there's plenty of stuff to marathon without even touching those.
  7. IGPX Remastered continuing confirmed: Also, looks like the reason for the double-debut of DS: MT is to get the whole arc in from 11/11 to 12/16. It will be interesting to see if they keep the "normal" 11/18 lineup on 11/25, but at least for now it seems DS: MT stays at midnight.
  8. Darn it, I fell asleep before the 2nd one, but I DID wake up briefly and see Stars and Stripes! Can hardly wait for Season 7!
  9. Yep, and no future otherwise... Kanda is a DICK!
  10. And you can just taste the foreshadowing!!
  11. How we doing tonight? That AOT promo seemed kinda uninspired... ...like it was recycled or something!
  12. Oops. Rick & Morty gained 48k viewers in Week 2, but actually shed slightly in 18-49: https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/10/tv-ratings-for-sunday-22nd-october-2023.html?m=1
  13. OK, be honest, who predicted THIS...
  14. It's the Saturday Night before Halloween, and things are about to get a little spooky... Midnight tonight 10/28/23, ONLY TOONAMI!
  15. Gotta say I didn't see this coming! Bad call not airing Dr. Stone at Midnight though. I have only seen Mugen Train in theaters despite having the opportunity to stream it on Hulu for like 2 years (I skipped ahead to the Entertainment District arc), so looking forward to it? If this schedule holds, I'm hoping we get the Swordsmith Arc eventually, because I still haven't seen it. We would finish Mugen Train in November, get ED arc in December and January, and then by the end of January it's Swordsmith time! Don't get me wrong--I am still assuming we're getting Marathons December 23 and 30, but NOT November 25th. Also, it remains to be seen if this is indeed a drop to 2.5 hours. But WOW, what a change for November after an October dominated by only 4 different shows, by November 12th, we'll have already seen 6!
  16. I wonder if the door is open for Discotek to rescue these shows somehow? At any rate, tax write-off laws need to change. Maybe Gen Z will be up to the challenge?
  17. Absurd. We are NOT going down to 2 hours! Besides, yes they hid the drop to 3 hours in DST last year, but DST was 4 hours then AND IS GOING TO BE 4 HOURS THIS YEAR TOO!! Going from 4 to 2 would be too much of a cut. If we were going down to 2 hours, DST would be 3 hours. If Naruto: Shippuden stays doubled-up, it likely ends in early 2024. Maybe THEN we'll be talking about a 2-hour Toonami, but not yet. Also, the rerun COULD be an FLCL. Why the hell not!? Hell, they could run AOT from the beginning if they're THAT desperate for content. Do that 2x or even 3x in 2024 at the end of every Toonami until you get back to the specials, which would just need an extra half-hour for 3 weeks (to air 85-87 back-to-back, then the specials) in the former case. The whole series would take 31 weeks if aired 3 episodes a week, 29 weeks for the first 87 episodes, and then 2 more weeks for the specials.
  18. Hey!! https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/03/top-200-cable-reruns-week-ending-26th_01243089880.html?m=1 FLCL: Grunge Episode 1 checking in at #190 out of 200! Nice job! https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/10/tv-ratings-for-saturday-14th-october.html?m=1 Shippuden did pretty decent too!
  19. On that note... https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/10/tv-ratings-for-sunday-15th-october-2023.html?m=1 Rick & Morty got #8 on 10/15/23 with 418K total viewers and a 0.22 in 18-49. We shall see how Episode 2 did tomorrow!
  20. We'll do better for Shoegaze...
  21. Toonami airs Shippuden. You're awake at 1:30 and wanna watch it. Perfect.
  22. Relive the cel-shaded 3D awesomeness from September 2023 ALL IN ONE NIGHT!! ONLY TONIGHT, ONLY TOONAMI!!
