  1. The Black Bulls have rescued Fana from her brainwashing, but no sooner than her joining the good guys does a fearsome new foe appear! What will happen? Find out tomorrow night (3/23) at 2 AM!! ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  2. There's a fearsome killer on the loose in Morioh. So, what does our fearless hero, Josuke, do about it? He decides to befriend a shapeshifting alien and bilk one of his buddies out of a ridiculous sum of money. Will this backfire hilariously? Find out tomorrow night (3/23) at 1:30 AM! ONLY TOONAMI!!
  3. Episode #42 (Season 3, Episode 4): "MY HERO" No more screwing around in the woods--THE VILLAINS HAVE ARRIVED, and Pixie-Bob, the Wild Pussycat leader, is OUT COLD!!! Will the UA heroes be able to overcome, or are they dead to rights to this new menace!? Tune in Saturday night (3/23) and find out!!! Only Toonami!!!
  4. Season 2 of Gundam IBO was good. Sure, it had a tragic ending, or at least a semi-tragic ending, but as someone who enjoyed good Shakespearian tragedies in high school, I dig that! I hate that they gave it the boot for Boondocks and Black Dynamite, but there IS still time to finish it before they lose the rights in October...
  5. Last week on Boruto, Suigetsu dropped a bombshell on Sarada, but Naruto has repaired her resolve as now they go on to rescue Sakura!! 11:30 PM tomorrow night (3/23), ONLY TOONAMI!!
  6. The next chapter in the battle for the cosmos! 11 PM Saturday Night (3/23) Who's still in? BEFORE THE EPISODE U2: 8/10 U3: 7/10 U4: 7/10 U6: 10/10 (Full strength) U7: 9/10 (Almost full strength) U9: 0/10 (Eliminated) U10: 3/10 U11: 4/10 TOTAL: 48/80 ONLY TOONAMI!!
  7. Lately, Adult Swim starts at 8 PM with Samurai Jack on weeknights. What if that were substituted for Pop Team Epic turned upside-down or something else weird like that??
  8. Of course I do. I just thought it might be useful information for those that seldom watch [as] outside Toonami.
  9. They've been reairing the Episode 6 promo this week.
  10. And when this episode came out in 2014, it wasn't QUITE running amok as it is now...
  11. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/black-clover/episode-61/.140485 Grade: "C-"!? HARSH, yo!!
  12. This new arc is--quite funny so far! This begs the question though: was this stuff actually in the manga? Because this sure FEELS like filler... https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/jojo-bizarre-adventure-diamond-is-unbreakable/episode-27/.107131 Grade: "B+". I probably would have gone with A-, as this one actually brought me to tears of laughter!!
  13. You gotta see this week's trending report, provided by Toonami Faithful; it's quite a hoot! http://toonamifaithful.com/toonami-trending-rundown-for-march-16-17-2019/ United States Trends: #Toonami [#3] #DragonBallSuper [#11] #Boruto [Trended with #Toonami] #SwordArtOnline [Trended with #Toonami] #SwordArtOnlineAlicization [Trended with #Toonami] #MegaloBox [Trended with #Toonami] #JoJosBizarreAdventure [#10] #BlackClover [#10] #HunterXHunter [#9] #Shippuden [Trended with #Toonami] MegaloBox fails to place in trending for the 2nd time in its run, though it did get an "assist." Dragon Ball Super makes a rare-ish appearance in trending this week as well, though I wonder if this was more due to rumors of new episodes? JoJo is the only show which has a sizable streak, this time in its 8th week!
  14. MHA HAS led the block before, in August and September of last year, and it didn't do too bad. Over those 5 weeks (not counting the MHA Labor Day marathon), it averaged: 620,200 total viewers; 342,600 adults 18-49. That was the beginning of Season 2. Dub Premieres of Season 4 would do great as the lead-in when Dragon Ball Super ends, for 6-7 months at least.
  15. Last time they resorted to this level of secrecy and doubled up on Samurai Jack, the new show was Mob Psycho 100 Season 1. MegaloBox, on the other hand, had a definite release date of December 8th for months. And, I believe, so did Boruto. That, I believe, covers all the new shows of the 2nd half of 2018. The first new show of 2019, SAO: Alicization, we knew about for a couple weeks at least.
  16. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/megalobox/episode-12/.133286 Grade: "A". Bizarre interstitial oddities aside, this was a GREAT episode!! Can hardly wait for the last one!!
  17. Well, I wouldn't exactly say they "tanked"; they're just "ehh…" "Adult Swim’s line-up performed as follows: DRAGON BALL at 0.30 and 0.09/284K & 0.10/306K compared to last week’s 0.38 and 0.15/447 & 0.15/423K, BORUTO down 0.05 to 0.21, MY HERO ACADEMIA down 0.06 to 0.20/486K, SWORD ART ONLINE down 0.03 to 0.18, MEGALOBOX down 0.03 to 0.17/337K, JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE down 0.03 to 0.16, BLACK CLOVER steady at 0.17/327K, HUNTER X HUNTER down 0.01 to 0.13/269K, NARUTO steady at 0.14/276K, and ATTACK ON TITAN down 0.02 to 0.10/212K." 3/16/19 - Total Viewers Show Viewers Retention DBZ Kai 284,000 DBS (R) 306,000 107.75% DBS (P) 718,000 Boruto 517,000 72.01% MHA 486,000 94.00% SAO3 420,000 86.42% MegaloBox 337,000 80.24% JoJo4 318,000 94.36% B. Also, Black Clover did stay more or less steady in Adults 18-49, even if it lost >100k total viewers! But wait, there's more!! https://programminginsider.com/saturday-final-ratings-duke-victory-over-florida-state-on-espn-draws-largest-audience-on-record-for-acc-tournament-championship-game/ 3/16/19 - Adults 18-49 Show Viewers Retention DBZ Kai 115,000 DBS (R) 128,000 111.30% DBS (P) 390,000 95.12% Boruto 277,000 71.03% MHA 252,000 90.97% SAO3 234,000 92.86% MegaloBox 215,000 91.88% JoJo4 211,000 98.14% B. 18. Well, at least they all made the Top 50. A few weeks back, Megalobox was stuck at #52, and JoJo inexplicably beat it to land inside the Top 50.
  19. Well folks, THIS is why you don't run the regular lineup on St. Patrick's Day: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-3-16-2019.html Super dipped under 750K for the first time since January, and Megalobox plunged to its 2nd-lowest number since Midnight last year. To be fair, the demographics weren't TOO much lower, on a par with the end of February, once you got past Super, anyway. Still, if there were schedule issues, relying on a glitch is foolish. They should have just run a Pop Team Epic marathon, accompanied by recast green-colored bumps with TOM and SARA doing their best Irish accents...
