That's pretty good, I guess! DBS finally cracks 400K total viewers for the first time in 2021! February so far has been quite a bit kinder to Toonami than January was!

Everything else did pretty decent, and Black Clover is FINALLY considered to be in premieres once again! Only SSSS.Gridman missed the Top 50, checking in at #62.

If you were looking for ratings news, you'll apparently have to wait another day, at least: Ratings Delays Due to Presidents Day Holiday | Showbuzz Daily It says "Wednesday Feb 18 by 8 AM". Not sure if that's supposed to be "Wednesday Feb 17" or "Thursday Feb 18". I guess we'll see!

And that's why key to Toonami's survival is its own original shows. Even Cosmo Samurai, Toonami's first real original animation in 2021 (unless you count the bumps) seems to be having that effect on the ratings. We don't know how Dragon Ball Super did in 18-34, but the episode of AOT that followed is the ONLY known show to crack 0.2 in Adults 18-34 this year! I say "seems to" only because its actual effect is still somewhat inconclusive with only one data point. We'll have half the data by tomorrow, though!

"Zoe" IS almost exclusively a female name in Germany. Either way, Jessica Calvello, a lesbian in real life, was an ideal VA to play her!

Toonami going off the air in 2008 hurt--a lot! There are STILL people who watched Dragon Ball Z on CN Toonami that don't know Toonami ever came back on the air on Adult Swim! I guess they're just always busy with other stuff on Saturday nights and never bothered to tune in!

Samurai Jack also did well. The peak so far was a random episode of DBZ Kai, which did 2.015M viewers on August 8, 2015. That was kind of a shocker since it happened at a time that cable was waning and streaming was picking up steam, so I'm pretty sure that will NEVER be eclipsed.

So then I guess this is really Season 5 out of 6? And here I thought we were actually watching Toonami's final run of AOT episodes, but the NEXT run might be? Interesting! It's not a stretch then to say that Toonami may still be premiering AOT in 2022!

Hey, we don't know that they won't do a 1-or-2-episode "condensed" version of Mugen Train before the rest of the season begins! It COULD still happen! And for Toonami's sake, it better!

Great--Black Clover was back and I SLEPT THROUGH IT!? Oh well, I recorded the episode! But now, it's... EPISODE 15: MOUNT NATAGUMO The best arc in Season 1 BEGINS!!!

Well, they can't exactly do that, plus they are in kind of a bit of danger right now!
