It's completely bizarre, but I think it's quite possible at this point we see a 3-episode Season 1 finale of Yashahime on December 4/5th, followed by a 3-episode premiere of The Second Act on December 11/12th!

Surprisingly quite stable!

Blade Runner: Black Lotus is here, but it's no MHA. All timeslots appear to have dropped slightly, but at least once again all regular-length premieres made the Top 50: https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-saturday-11-13-2021-top-150-cable-originals-network-finals.html Interestingly enough, the female 12-34 audience stayed pretty strong throughout the block, after Black Lotus arguably captured a top 10 slot for that demographic at Midnight. At this point, it doesn't seem like there's much Toonami can do to expand its audience beyond the 2-3 stadiums-full of people who watch every week, but then again, we'll see what the Friday takeover lineup will do soon enough!

It's been well established that Netflix has "fuck you" money. (See: JoJo Part 6). But this project and Death Note also prove they have "fuck up" money! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

I saw a Blade Runner: Black Lotus promo last night on TNT during AEW Rampage. Not sure if they mentioned Toonami though. Last time that happened, an FLCL Progressive promo invaded the NBA Playoffs on TNT.

Hey, it aired on Toonami last Thanksgiving, so it's kind of a Toonami show, right?? Oddly enough, this Watch Party featured episodes 7 and 5.

Come to think of it, if they really ARE stalling for time, I don't see what's to prevent them from just doing the same thing on 11/27, just in reverse order--something like THIS: 12 AM - Black Lotus Episode 4 Premiere 12:30 - 2049 Movie (Rerun) 4:15 - Black Out 2022 (Rerun) *normal schedule resumes at 4:30 AM Then finish Yashahime S1 and Food Wars! 4th Plate on 12/4 and 12/11, with Animatrix special event after Black Lotus 12/18 and Black Lotus marathon 12/25 if nothing "new" that isn't Blade Runner until 2022.
