  1. Am I alone? ... "You Are Not Alone!!" Man, Semisonic would be proud!!
  2. "World Record" Guess what happens if you run too fast??
  3. Well, here's our discussion! Seriously, this shit is BADASS!!
  4. Update: Adult Swim’s late-night line-up performed as follows: BLADE RUNNER: BLACK LOTUS at 0.10, YASHAHIME at 0.08/0.08/0.07, NARUTO at 0.07, FENA at 0.07/113K, DR STONE steady at 0.06/102K, and DRAGON BALL up 0.01 to 0.06/115K. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Dr. Stone back on the schedule to finish out its 3-peat run in 2022, but then again I guess it's doing about as well as anything would at 3 AM these days.
  5. Per a recent DeMarco tweet, it seems it may just be straight-up Sessions #1-#6, and then Session #7 follows in a regular weekly timeslot TBD on 1/8/22. Welcome to the "Supply Chain Issues" era...
  6. Welp. https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-saturday-12-11-2021-top-150-cable-originals-network-finals.html The second weekend in December is not historically bright for Toonami, as it featured the "unholy megabomb" of Hellsing Ultimate and FMA: Milos in 2014 that hit a new ratings low at the time, but since then of course that relative nadir has been eclipsed as the Age of Streaming gets more and more aggressive. However, I have to admit I expected better than #49 for Black Lotus and NOTHING else making the Top 50! If there is a silver lining, it's that the Yashahime premieres and the accidental rerun managed to maintain over a 0.07 in Adults 18-49 and over 150K total viewers. While Shippuden kept the 0.07 going, it dropped to 128K viewers. Apparently the 1.5 College Football stadiums'-full of RYFs really didn't care that they were watching a rerun, or they held out hope that the season finale would air in Shippuden's regular timeslot.
  7. Hopefully they get to roll right into Yashahime: Second Act, and at this point, I'd say they pretty much have to, and even THEN we could be looking at a schedule that is half-reruns. The real tragedy of Harley Quinn not having its 13th episode, Season 1's finale, follow Yashahime's on 1/1/22 is it seems it won't become a regular part of the weekly lineup, and at a time when Toonami could use a hand-me-down from HBO Max, even if it would need to be heavily edited. Speaking of potential hand-me-downs from HBO Max, gen:Lock Season 2 is also a possibility even if it's a total trainwreck, and it turns out IT would have to be heavily edited. Either it or HQ airing at 1 AM (10 PM PST) would probably be OK and a decent stopgap if they're being "frozen out" of new anime acquisitions. Of course end the premieres after the new 1 AM show with Shippuden at 1:30, then Cowboy Bebop at 2, Fena at 2:30, Dr. Stone at 3, and Dragon Ball Super at 3:30.
  8. Well, I listened to the Demon Slayer podcast where they cover this tweet, and it's quite interesting. But one of the unintended effects of it is I discovered Peacock actually does stream anime, but I just checked for myself and most of it, including Megalobox, is subbed, and that's NOT Season 2: Nomad either. Among the dubs, which there don't seem to be many, probably the most standout title they have that Toonami has never aired is Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? but they do also have Parasyte -The Maxim- dubbed and that's really cool. Oddly enough, they also have Food Wars Seasons 1 & 2, also a Sentai show, but it's subtitled. They don't seem to have much of a concept of choosing subbed or dubbed with their anime; everything is one or the other.
  9. Welp... At least we're getting the Yashahime they screwed up and didn't air because FedEx got the tape lost in a ravine somewhere in the Appalachians! (I kid)! But who's actually excited about Cowboy Bebop returning to the lineup after a Bebop-less 2021?
  10. That would be absolutely hi-f*ckin'-larious if they had Tom say "Welcome to the Ouch, Netflix! We've got a marathon of Cowboy Bebop, coming up next!!" But on a serious note, which 6 episodes do you think they're gonna play? I think it would be great if they focused on the episodes Netflix botched the most in their 5%-assed live action adaptation!! From what I'm reading, that would be Jupiter Jazz. Guess we'll see that, since Netflix apparently made "Jupiter Jizz!"
  11. Here we go again! Season 2 begins anew for what seems it may be a 3-peat! But this episode is DEFINITELY a 3-Peat! Episode #25: The Stone Wars Beginning!
  12. Well, that's all for this week, folks! I guess we'll return to this run next year?
  13. Something mysterious and magical was going on at this point in time, and we couldn't be sure what it was!
  14. This is no mine, it's a tomb!
  15. Episode 5: Coordinates Hello, only true "Pirate" crew in this series, complete with a well-known historical pirate!!
  16. Well, I hope we get the episode of Yashahime they just failed miserably to air at some point!
  17. Whoa, we're gonna end for the year on a cliffhanger!?
  18. True. Maybe they'll air it tomorrow after Joe Pera? Doubt it...
  19. Well, I guess this is the right episode...right??
  20. Well, here we go: NARUTO SHIPPUDEN! Hope they don't screw THIS up! Williams Street seriously needs to lay off the eggnog!
  21. The bumps they made were from Episode 21, which DID air tonight, but wasn't SUPPOSED to. I actually thought that was a nice touch, even if that episode wasn't actually supposed to air. The real tragedy is that the title cards don't show the episode number so it's easy to get them mixed up. One time when InuYasha was on late Saturday nights, they aired the same episode 2 weeks in a row. It was at the very beginning of the show. Seriously, BARBIE commercials on [as]!?
