pulled pork sandwiches. Also, hey! Long time, no see!

Sorry for the doublepost. I should've moved back home much, much sooner. I haven't slept this well since, well, the last time I lived here.
-
O_O Well then...

Update: I am back home now. My uncle is grateful to be back at his home, and is hoping to keep on the straight and narrow path. He actually is a pretty good guy. He just went down a dark path. All I can do is pray for him. In the meantime, I am glad to be back where I grew up…finally.

No, it looks more like beaver teeth on certain models.

For those who don't know, I'm in the process of moving out of my grandparents' house. Now where will I be moving to? Answer: I'm moving back home. That's right. I'm moving back in with my mom. I'm doing this because my mom's health has been going downhill for a bit now and I want to help her out around the house. Another reason is I've been unemployed since around Valentine's Day last year, and that was mainly due to my being needed to help be available over here at my grandparents' house to help take care of them since they're both very weak. The third reason is this: I have an uncle who gets out of jail on Friday. He's been in jail for the last three and a half years. (Drug charges and stuff.) Part of me feels like I should stay because he might fall back into the same crap that landed him in jail. But my grandfather has assured me he's going to have a "Come to Jesus" talk with him and pretty much tell him that if he doesn't shape up and act right, he won't be allowed to live there. And there's the part where I just don't trust him with my stuff. I admit I don't have a lot of stuff, but what I do have I've worked very hard for. And he's had a nasty habit of taking other people's things and hawking them for money. Because of this, I don't trust him with my stuff, especially my PS4. So I'm not going to put myself in that situation. (I realize I may be overreacting, but if we use past behiavior as a predictor for future behavior, one could infer that I'm actually being quite reasonable.) I'm not expecting anybody to reply to this. I just needed to post. Thanks for reading!

No, it doesn't. It looks nothing like it.

Yeah, well, the Young Bucks just couldn't help themselves. That's what happens when you have a boss who lets his EVP's egos get so inflated they think they can do whatever they want and to hell with what everyone else thinks, even the actual boss. I might as well call it now. RIP AEW.
-
Yep. This may have been AEW's "Butts in the Seats/Fingerpoke of Doom" moment.
-
So they actually did it. AEW showed the ALL IN London backstage confrontation between CM Punk and Jack Perry. A couple things. First, it doesn't necessarily paint Punk in a positive light considering he did swing at Perry first. (At least according to the video.) At the same time, Perry looked like he was getting ready to scrap with Punk before Punk attacked him so it may have been preemptive on Punk's part. Also, Jack Perry needed to be put in his place. Punk did that, and he got punished for it because Tony Khan doesn't know how to be a proper boss. He wants to be everyone's friend. Furthermore, If it had been during the Attitude Era, when the Undertaker was considered the locker room leader, we'd be praising him for keeping people in line. But since it's CM Punk trying to do the same thing, especially since Tony Khan didn't do a damn thing to squash things, to keep certain egos in check, some AEW fans insist on shitting on the Second City Saint. To me, this really does prove CM Punk was right about AEW. (And I like AEW, too, just like I liked WCW before the whole "Fingerpoke of Doom" incident.) TL,DR: Jack Perry needed to be put in his place; CM Punk did that. AEW brass got buttmad and let CM Punk go. Because CM Punk told his side of the story, the Young Bucks got buttmad and showed this clip, which might end up being the beginning of the end for AEW, proving what CM Punk said about the promotion was actually the truth.

Is anyone in totality today with that eclipse
Gemini replied to ghostrek's topic in General Discussion
It was 94% totality here. Really cool! I wish I could’ve gone up to Dallas though. Clear skies and total darkness. -
Back to playing Genshin Impact.

I wasn't getting anything out of it. So I got rid of it. Also, I need to start using my MacBook again.

Here's an old'n, but a good'n that I first heard on an episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus. What's brown and sounds like a bell? DUNG!

In 1984, I was two years old.

Same, at least my PS2. I never had a PS3. I wish I had gotten one. That way, I'd have NCAA Football 14 as well as the ability to get College Football Revamped, which would allow me to have updated FBS schools and rosters for each school.

Good luck!

How good are you at knowing someone is into you
Gemini replied to André Toulon's topic in General Discussion
There was this girl in college who sat right in front of me in my Intro to Humanities class. She was really cute. Well, she was flipping her hair in front of me one time while we were watching a movie in class and she kept putting out signals that she wanted me to ask her out. I actually liked her back, but because I had other things going on at the time, I never got the message she was sending out until after I left college the first time. When I saw her six years later at a party for a mutual friend (read: after I had finally gotten the message), she was married and expecting her first kid. I was, needless to say, crushed. -

sports 2023/24 NFL It’s a Hard Knock Life Shit Talking Thread

Fair point. In that case, it does make more sense. But like tsar said, Caleb will probably be thrown into the fire and expected to perform miracles. However, he could also turn out to be like C.J. Stroud and have a transcendant rookie season. We'll find out soon enough. -

True, but at the same time, they made it appear as though they were going to keep Justin Fields by bringing in a couple playmakers. Are the Bears playing chess while we're all playing checkers? I don't know. I will say the optics don't look very good, at least in my eyes.
