  1. Wow. Much head desk. Very face palm.
  2. I didn't realize how much Travis Kelce meant to the Chiefs offense. (I mean I knew he meant a lot, but not THIS much.)
  3. That's right. My bad.
  4. Would downtown Atlanta have some? I know Houston in general has a lot of diverse food options.
  5. Sure, but they're hanging with the defending champs so far. Edit: And as soon as I said that, Kansas City scores a touchdown. lulz (as in lulz to me)
  6. I realize it's Week 1, but no matter what happens the rest of the game, the Lions converting on 4th down from inside their own 20 yard line shows that they're here to make some noise in the NFL.
  7. Same, except the meat/protein was chicken.
  8. See, I like sushi as well, but I'd rather have it once in a blue moon. I fear if I eat it every single day, I'd get burned out on it.
  9. I've seen better days, but it's still been pretty good.
  10. Well then... lol
  11. You're welcome. And I don't know if other people are like this, but I try to be encouraging at all times, even when I have my own stuff to work through. And I'm that way because I realized that my life experience is different from everybody else's. At the same time, similar experiences do help inform how we communicate with each other. So if someone (me, for exampe) sees that you're going through something they either are going through as well or have already gone through, they can say "this is what I did (or what I'm doing) to get through it". I admit that the advice I give may not always work because there is a myriad of answers to any one problem. You just have to find what works for you. In other words, get as many perspectives from as many people as possible and pick what you think is best for you. (Again, that's also meant for me, too.) *friendly hug*
  12. I’m right there with ya, man. *does Snoopy happy dance*
  13. Yes, but i didn't want to state the obvious this time. lol
  14. Life can be a real shitcasket, huh? lol In all seriousness, it may be time to explore what hobbies you have that may turn into a career. (This advice isn't just for you; it's for me as well. I just started writing again and I'm starting to wonder if I can pursue a career in that.) My brother Teddy works for a craft brewery in Little Rock. It started as a hobby with him brewing at home while working at Bank of America. He found he was so good he decided he wanted to learn to do it for real. So he applied to work at a craft brewery in Phoenix (where he was living at the time) and he was hired. He's come up with a few recipes for beers since he's been working professionally. The point is, it's never too late for a career change. Just something to think about.
  15. I love pro wrestling, but man, the internet wrestling community is toxic as hell. There's no use debating most people. They're gonna think what they want even when you present undisputable facts that don't fit the narrative they want to be true. I'm not saying I'm an expert or that I'm even right about certain topics. But when something someone thinks has been completely debunked by facts that have been proven to be irrefutable, why in the world would you continue to believe the opposite? That's what I don't get about people sometimes. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's thought about this either.
  16. By White Zombie. (The song is actually called "Super Charger Heaven" but who cares?)
  17. I've decided that I'm going to start calling people who piss me off shitcaskets, or even better, unauthorized shitcaskets. Blame the weird British sketch tv show Modern Toss for that one. You're welcome, you unauthorized shitcasket.
  18. Why am I watching reaction videos of people tearing up as they watch Saving Private Ryan for the first time? Am I some emotional sado-masochist? Damn, my tender heart.
  19. Yes, it is. And you're most definitely welcome.
  20. Phalanges.
  21. I hear ya. I've felt that way recently, too. It's like you try so hard to be careful only to make a big mess, right? You can't do anything right no matter how hard you try. Hang in there though. Your persistence will pay off. I promise.
  22. Sounds like you're a chronic overthinker, too. I know the feeling.
  23. Why they changed it? I can't say. Must've liked it better that way! (Actually, it was renamed New York after the Duke of York when the English took over ownership of Dutch colony New Netherland, which they also renamed New York.)
