They've done that before, it's called the Virtual Console. Unfortunately a lot of the classics on N64 belong to Microsoft now. Banjo Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, etc would not be on a N64 Classic(as well as Diddy Kong Racing with those characters being in it).

Those pro controllers are expensive. Long ass battery life and better than the joycons though, worth it imo. I guess the extra $10 here over buying them separately is for the steelbook?
