  12. What I had on my '88 Blazer
  13. Warm is fine. As long as you don't see hot embers flying out of it when the stove is lit. That would mean your chimney needs cleaned immediately.
  14. Well let's break it down here real quick. Say it takes you about 12 hours total labor getting the front half of the truck parted out... as in cab, front clip, cooling system, engine/trans. Now factor in the average prices for everything. Most likely, that cab is non-A/C and is also a 2wd cab (trans tunnel is lower than a 4x4 cab, less desired). $500 if it has no rust holes. Front clip... well all together and its shape, could bring in $300. Doors - probably manual doors, $300 on a good day. The whole interior... gauge cluster, dash pad, fingerbang bench, plain no-tilt auto steering column (73-83 had wipers and high beams on the dash/floor so it is not desired) ... all that together maybe $300. Engine: If it's a 350, probably $150 running. 2wd TH400... $150 as well... nothing special. Or just sell the thing for $1500 and not go through all that bullshit... plus an undesired frame with a flatbed on it sitting in your yard you probably will end up selling for $500 about 4 years later.
  15. Oh no. Go ahead and try to remove the front clip and cab from a "mildly" rusty truck that is this body style and get back to me. The shit is NOT fun
  16. Not worth parting out. I have parted out 5 or 6 73-87 Chevy trucks.... the time and effort to do it is not worth it. Even the clean ones have rusty bolts.
  17. Thanks... cost me a whole $8.49
  18. Not worth it...... Not for a truck like this
  19. Find out what's under the hood! I mean if it is like super low miles and in really good shape and all original, it can bring in something too. 73-87 Chevy trucks are on that borderline where collectors want then and stuff like that, but at the same time the market isn';t there for them yet. Scroll through local listings and see what similar trucks are going for.
  20. I love women with power.
