I keep everything I drive clean... even trucks that had a rusty roof and a mismatched hood. Mostly because I am the kind of person that likes simple luxury and part of that experience is a clean interior. Plus if I keep it clean at least once a week I won’t have to spend 4 hours and a whole bottle of Simple Green scrubbing at caked on grime if I ever need to clean it. It’s easier to sell a clean vehicle.

I paid to have my Jeep detailed about a year after I got it, partly because I had no time during the week and my weekends were booked (beginning of spring). That being said, I only had him do the outside... I do my own interior cleaning. And my mom used to use the dude to have her cars detailed once a year and he did a hell of a good job. Because of this, he took my mom’s Wrangler (the last time she ever had it detailed.. it’s a muddy mess inside now 🤣) and my ZJ at a little bit of a discount sort of like a package deal. I paid $50. To top all of this off though, once it had this detail I kept that maintained. It just really needed a good going-over on the outside. Well worth it.

All years of the ZJ... 1993-1998 came with a keyless entry option. 1993-1995 worked differently than 1996-1998. If you got power locks and windows, you got keyless entry. Higher-end models had anti-theft. Mine is a 1998 Laredo with every option you could get, except (thankfully) the 5.2 V8 and digital climate control.

Maybe talk to customer service or the deli or whoever and see if they can get some scrapple!

Mercedes-Benz influenced anti-theft made by Chrysler is a bitch to get around. Just because I am a Jeep guy does not mean I only involve myself with Wranglers. ZJ's, XJ's, and WJ's are my forte. All three of them have Chrysler's bullshit. Dude It CAME with keyless entry. The fob even has a Chrysler logo on it.

They're actually hard to steal even in stock form, if you have keyless entry. Trust me. If the alarm is going off, it WILL NOT start no matter what you do. You need to lock and unlock the door with the key in some oddball fashion along with locking and unlocking with the fob and then it'll start. So logically, I'd be fine with it the way it is. Also, I have friends in Russia....
