So uhh here's the deal. You guys want stuff. We can give you stuff for free. But this place costs money to run. We asked for donations, and got some, and they kept us running for a bit. But then people mostly stopped donating. I did everything I could to streamline how things run to move us to cheaper hardware. But only one person has donated in the last 2 months and it was $10. It currently costs $80 (and some tax) to run this place per month. So if you guys don't want to donate, and don't want popup ads about Russian chicks in your area looking for dick on every page, we gotta find some way to get you to pay for the site to... exist. (We don't have nearly enough users for normal unobtrusive ads to make us any money) Therefore, we ask you to pay for stuff you want. So paying for custom ranks is currently the plan. If you guys have better ideas, that'd be great.

I went ahead and installed some advanced metrics for looking at historical CPU, Memory, Bandwidth and Disk usage so maybe I can get a better idea of what's going on next time. I really think it's an issue with Cloudflare's DNS system though. I'd love to get us off of it but there's not really a better free alternative for WAF providers.

I checked the resource logs and don't see any usage spikes in the last 24 hours so I'mma go ahead and blame cloudflare.

If you don't use yeast, you're going to get thick, hard bread. Yeast is what makes it light and fluffy. You could use recipes that call for cornflour or potato flour instead - but those recopies are also relying on bacterial cultures in the potatoes or corn, so it's basically the same as yeast. If you don't want hard bread loaves, you gotta have your microorganisms in there. If you're really that hard set on not doing so - I suggest going for a flatbread instead, most flatbreads do not require cultures.

Asus is pretty shit dude. They're miles above Acer/eMachines, but they're still shit. Toshiba and Lenovo are the laptop champs. Dell's Business Class laptops are also cream of the crop - but the consumer class and Alienware are hot garbage.

They're actually pretty great. I bought one for my dad a couple years ago because he's prone to viruses on windows machines, and all he does is watch netflix and browse the internet and loves it. I had one for a while, but it was a bit too limited for what I wanted to do. If all you're doing is browsing the internet and editing documents, it's a great cheap alternative to a full fledged laptop.

There was a real person in the car, behind the wheel. They didn't see the person and stop either. I think that says enough. The fact is that these self driving cars, even if they may occasionally be involved in fatalities, are already tens of thousands of times safer than human-operated cars. In my opinion, there's absolutely no question about their road worthiness.

That's right near ASU campus, I've almost hit jaywalkers there multiple times at night because they're too stupid and lazy to walk over the the crosswalks and it's impossible to see them if they're between streetlights. I have little sympathy to be completely honest. I think the car should have better sensors to prevent this in the future, but it was really the victim's fault here.
