Gonna be honest here: not the largest fan of Miko being a kitsune. It's a good twist that makes sense for the show's plot, yeah, but that doesn't change how cooler I think it would've been if she was a yokai exorcist from a prestigious family of Shinto priests and priestesses whose kanji name reading Shiori recognized at just a glance in an "oh shit" manner. Making her a full-fledged yokai who manipulated Hinako's memories just to get closer to her for her own machinations feels... cheap, compared to the alternative. Y'feel?

That said, the pre-credits omake that followed up said reveal was a welcome palate-cleanser.
