Kaiju girl might be a new member of the main cast

 

I think this was a pretty good season,even on a rewatch. The kaiju mecha fight didnt overstayed its welcome.Still warming up to Kinta

I really did have no idea there would be a cute girl inside the Dan Da Dan kaiju when I posted a trailer this Kaiju Girl anime a week or two ago.  But this makes me look forward to it even more haha.

And now we know where it will be streaming, and an air date.

What was that show that had a couple seasons on Toonami? Can't remember the name but it was kind of a mech show. She looked like she was pulled right out of that show.

The timing on this is almost coincidental lol and probably a slight preview at what we'll see with the kaiju chick

I don't know if you mean Eureka 7, but the Kaiju girl might bear a vague resemblance to Eureka herself.

I'm sure it's a coincidence.  But the Kaiju Girl anime looks fun and should tide us over somewhat with potentially similar content until season 3 of Dan Da Dan gets here haha.

Eureka, one of my favs.

Hmm, not really a robot show but there was also the main girl from Dimension W that she kinda looks like. The android girl Mira.

I actually didn't realize there was a love triangle between shinji,rei and ,Asuka(mostly because Asuka is always ripping on Shinji) until reading your post and googling. its been a while since i watched eva and now I see why,it was an unconventional one.the Asuka shinning rei love trinagle seems...so subtle  but its there haha

 

Trying to think of other interesting love triangle out there for anime/manga.i need to see more of Dan da Dan before deciding what to think of its love triangle.i also need to rewatch evangelion again

 

 I know my favorite love triangle is from jrpgs is Final Fantasy 7's Cloud Strife ,Tifa, and Aerith. You can really feel that cloud is attracted to both. There are other reasons why I like it so much. It is so well done and very believable

unlike the love triangle in naruto with Sasuke,ino , and Sakura, where you don't even get the slightest impression that Sasuke was attracted to either girl.

I'll give kaiju girl a watch and tell you what I think. Seems like good fun.

Yeah, super close. I was thinking of Eureka 7, but didn't Dimension W air on Toonami too. Could be a memory of a mashup

Everybody's saying this ending has Evangelion vibes. But in truth, there appears to be a green-haired alien girl having the hots for an everyday Earth high schooler, despite the super-powered girl next door being in a clear relationship with him.

I mean, I always wanted Urusei Yatsura on Toonami. I didn't think it would happen here, of all places though.
