I'm gonna use this opportunity to stupidly flex. I have over 600 books in my kindle, meaning I spent thousands of dollars on fucking books 😑

I love to read. But when I finish a book in my kindle (if I didn’t buy it it was just on unlimited) I delete it. It’s silly but I always think I’m running out of space

Yeah, I've never downloaded my whole library at once. I don't like the book selection on kindle unlimited. I do have an audible subscription though. If you like Harry Potter, the new full cast audiobooks are excellent. It's immersive and almost makes me feel like I'm experiencing the series for the first time again.

My kindle books are mostly nonfiction titles, and I feel one's interest greatly varies on that compared to fiction.

every so often i find a good read on unlimited. I find it hard to listen to audio books, when i worked retail i had to tune a shit load out to focus on what i was doing. so ill get busy cleaning and not hear a single thing that chapter said. I tried to get into dungeon crawler carl on audio, but i gave up and started reading them.

i read a lot of non-fiction, im reading about the Seattle cyanide murders right now. but there are a few books that i read that were so damn good i needed physical copies. The Icepick Surgeon - Sam Kean and The Butchering Art: Joseph Listers quest to transform the grisly world of victorian medicine - Lindsey Fitzharris.

I have a lot of science and medicine...

Did you two know that your local libraries most likely have free kindle rentals?

That's not a facetious question. There are a lot of people that have no clue how much libraries offer these days. A lot offer dvd, cd, and video game collections now, too. (Video games not so common, but some.)

I don't haz Kindle books [ I have over 3000 physical books in my library ].

But have you read anything by Caitlin Rozakis? She only has two books out under that name so far with a third on the way so it won't be like someone suggesting a writer with a million books out to pick from.

'Dreadful' is about a Dark Wizard who wakes up with zero memories, a princess locked in the dungeon, and a castle staffed by goblins.

'The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association' is about a mom who has to move her entire family to a new town and try to figure out how to fit in while also dealing with an elementary school aged...werewolf.

The third book is called 'Startup Hell' and set in the same universe as the Grimoire Grammar School.

the next conversation helps you learn methods for controlling the tongue wag. not saying stupid things at critical points. something i very much need the next few months. i'll be hitting that one again.

be useful: 7 things..... that's schwartzenagger, and it's very very good. funny and gives some great insight to time mangement.

grit/spit   that's a ron riggle jam. and it's quite good.  reminds me that i've been in tougher spots, and sometimes having a cooler head prevails.

and horror, well...i am currently looking into re-reading the john saul books. scary stories about murderous creepy children.

its more like the lack of oversight and how the FDA knows and still does nothing to stop it.

blasphemous bible ...that looks interesting...doesnt come in digital

thats totally fine tho. i buy physical books too. i have a handful of books on my shelf that i cycle into my e-reads.

I would totally recommend it. the battery lasts forever, i pay for kindle unlimited so i get a shit ton of books for free. i keep things on my wish list and more often than not if i wait they show up as free and i nab them. The even have books with the audible tie in so you can read or listen to it for free with your membership. Its always in my purse when im out and about. you never know when you get stuck somewhere and need to kill time. not that i couldnt read it from the kindle app on my phone but that uses more battery.
