Episode 751: Curtain-up on a New Adventure! Arriving at the Phantom Island, Zou!

In the aftermath of Doflamingo's defeat at Dressrosa, new powers begin to churn the seas of the New World. Separated for far too long already, Luffy, Franky, Zoro, Robin, and Usopp aim to link up with Nami, Sanji, Brook, and Chopper on the mysterious island of Zou. But Zou is unlike any other island the Straw Hats have ever encountered - with unfotgetably unexpected inhabitants, to boot!

Yeah, somehow Nami had a massive growth spirt in her boobs even though she was already an adult and never had any kids. 😄

I think I actually liked her pre time skip design better though.  But I'm pretty sure her boobs still got bigger before the time skip too!

Nope it was reanimated.  Chopper doesn't have his original character design.  I liked his old design better.  He looked more like an actual animal.  Now he's more like a cartoon mascot.

Yeah Robin was always busty.  And inexplicably had a southern accent in the 4Kids version. 

Wow that's a major gloss over of Robin's story haha.

Nothing from the Blank Century was on Dressrosa apparently.  And if it was, that goof Pika probably destroyed it.

Whitebeard's crew got wiped out, really?  By that guy?

Borselino is his real name?  He has to be based on a member of the Rat Pack or some old school Italian celebrity right?  I can't look it up because I'll get spoilers haha.

Just when I thought I'd seen it all. A thousand year old elephant with an island on its back. Its back doesn't even look that big frankly. How does it got an island up there, and why doesn't it ever just shake it off? Doesn't it ever get tired of having a bunch of stuff on its back?

All of the admirals are designed as tributes to famous Japanese actors. Borsalino is meant to look like an actor named Kunie Tanaka.

Ah OK thanks!  That's a mystery finally solved for me.  The resemblance is uncanny!

I needed a recap for Mashle, not One Piece. 😄 I remember the One Piece stuff a lot better, even though it's been ages since I've seen it, I've seen some of the earlier arcs multiple times.  And well, One Piece, it gets kind of ingrained for some reason haha.

Yeah, especially the very early stuff. Think we saw those intro arcs at least 3 or 4 times.
