He’s the only good thing about the movie. The director of all the movies Damien Leone built him like that so he could experiment with things and find what sticks...I like to think of Art as a fusion of Freddy Krueger, and Michael Myers from a horror film stand point. That being said I agree or at least know what you mean. So much of his stuff has depended on Art and his gore showcasing's. Even Terrifier 3 depended heavily on gore/shock, and awe. I'm still excited for this next Halloween though since it's set to be the last installment and finally explore arts origins.. That was a concept trailer of course, and who knows how Leone will do it. Art does kind of hit me like he's just a more successful alien from the same species as pennywise, but who knows. I like how the actual director blended so many successful horror movie slashers into one and still used a lot of old tropes to build the mystery. That being said all the times art pulled a gun, or that one time he fucking bombed an entire shopping mall by handing out presents dressed as a shopping mall Santa... Dude does have his own steeze. PhilosipherStoned Posted yesterday at 06:56 AM Author Posted yesterday at 06:56 AM (edited) His use of liquid nitrogen was just beautiful, and would make any scientist blush... The only reason I have alien origins in mind is because he basically displayed the pennywise' deadlights a few times, and the All Hallows Eve mixtape has that one random short story featuring a weird ass alien monster... Terrifier 3 and everything you see in most of the films leads you to believe he's more so like Freddie Krueger with a demon latching on and kind of coalescing with the original serial killer. That seems like more the direction Art's heading, but fuck if I know lol I just hope the creator actually goes all out with his origin story, and is able to tie everything together with a neat bow. I don't care so much how he does it. Edited yesterday at 07:08 AM by PhilosipherStoned Quote
Still Me Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I read somewhere that the guy who plays art almost didn’t get the part because of his agent. His agent told him not to audition because it wouldn’t be beneficial and if he got the role it would ruin his career. He auditioned anyway and then when the producer reached out to the agent the agent never told the actor cause he didn’t want him doing the part. The actor only found out because the production staff called him to schedule a costume fitting. Needless to say he fired his agent. 2 Quote

1pooh4u Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I was actually talking more about the movie’s plot more than anything. In the first Terrifier Art was just a psycho person. He had no special abilities or anything until the end of the film when he resurrected. My problem is that you wouldn’t know he had any special abilities unless you read what the creator says about him and I really hate that. 2 Quote
