Makes sense he'd have to expand his followers at some point if he was going to become King of the Pirates. LOL He doesn't like sake. I was gonna say, has he ever drunk alcohol during the show before? LMAO He just wants to be King of the Pirates, not some big shot. That's his reasoning?!

I remember Luffy asking for milk when he went to a bar and I don't think that was a 4Kids thing.  But I don't know if that kept being a thing. 

Luffy doesn't want to be a big shot but he wants to be King of the Pirates. 🤣

anyone remember that manga 666 Satan (also known as o-parts hunter)?

 

i remember that this was the main character's goal, too. he wanted to take over the world, but decided he would do that by saving everyone and making everyone his friends.

 

for a long time, i'd been wondering if there would be a point when everybody Luffy helped would come back him up grand fleet style. and then this happened in the manga!

Dressrosa had some unusual weather that day.  But showers of rubble eventually gave way to clear skies. 😄

Wasn't that written by Kishimoto's brother?  He's probably a better writer than his brother. 😄

Well, Vergo and Monet died I'm pretty sure when Punk Hazard blew up, but that's technically not part of the Dressrosa arc I guess. Whatever happened to Buffalo? He got taken out I think by Kyros and never mentioned again after that. He might have died for all we know. A lot of civilians definitely died. There's no way they didn't, especially when Flamingo was puppeting people and having them slaughter one another.

Monet has to be dead after being at the center of that explosion and I hope Vergo is dead too.  So there's 4 total deaths in the present One Piece story, the other two being Ace and Whitebeard.  I don't count flashbacks, since that is stuff that already happened before the main story started, it's already part of the history of the world.  But yeah that's a different arc.

I don't remember who Buffalo was, but I just remembered that guy from Blackbeard's crew that I'm pretty sure got straight up incinerated by Sabo.  He's most likely dead.  

Well, neither Riku or his underlings, or anyone from the Navy mentioned civilian deaths.  Mansherry might have healed them.  After literally NO ONE died from the fucking Buster Call, I don't assume any civilian or grunt deaths unless they're explicitly confirmed haha.

But those grunt pirates probably got killed by that rubble and that big chunk of Pica. 😄

Yeah Oda probably does have a fetish like that, given that giantess Mermaid he made lol.

So is Robin giving them a pass like she and Nami did with the samurai kid?  Treating them like they're kids?  Or does Robin just not care about people touching her body?
