Or November. Dragon Ball Daima has 12 episodes left to go. At its current pace uninterrupted of an episode a week, that's 3 remaining in August (9-11), 4 in September (12-15), 4 in October (16-19), and 1 left in November (20, the finale), on November 1st. So that means we could get Rooster Fighter on the block as soon as November 8th.

While a November premiere for Rooster Fighter would be impressive, let's not forget that they planned for a Spring 2026 release for this show.

Honestly, if this truly is Toonami's last original anime, then at least they're going out with a parody of an action show. Just like how Williams Street first began, in a sense.

Well that was something.  It’s the first time an Adult Swim original anime FEELS like it’s on the same wavelength of an Adult Swim original and isn’t some pompous pseudo-artistic production that falls apart in execution.  It would fit right in with Smiling Friends, rather than trying to win awards.
