I can see what it is.  It's a sprinkler system that protects whole towns.  It has an adequate water supply, even in draught conditions.

So.....You think the sprinkler system used in a singular small, historic village to protect a tourist attraction is a feasible solution to the entirety of California.

Pull out some of that arithmetic and tell me just how cost effective that would be.

Here, I'll even save you some time...the village is about 140 square miles.... California is 165K square miles.

The historic area shown in the video is much smaller than one square mile . . . I could say more, but I'll leave the rest to our expert. Hopefully, he can enlighten us.

Because Japan has such a high risk of wildfires spreading, right? Japan is famous for its deserts and droughts like California, yes. Those sprinklers must have nothing to do with the material and everything to do with an American-centric view of everything that happens in the world. Japan definitely shouldn't put more money into less pressing matters like earthquakes, tsunamis, and typhoons.

Why I fathomed to reason people having faith in a failed businessman bankrupting casinos is now beyond me when the answer was always disappointingly obvious: sheer stupidity and bold contempt for actual expertise.

Trump sold two casinos to Carl Icahn, who continued to operate them while renting Trump's name on a franchise basis.  It is Carl who proceded to neglect both properties to a point of multiple and quite serious building and safety code violations and ultimately brought them into bankruptcy.  Trump had to litigate against Carl to have his name removed ftom the properties.  Carl closed the properties after one of the unions involved with them went on strike.  Carl refused all parts of the proposed union contract, including pay and health benefit increases.  None of that had been Trump's decision to make.

The whole nation of Japan is about the size of California.  The village is a testing ground.  If it works there, it will spread nation wide.
