But to answer topically there are reports that say this was just a save face strike. Iran gave plenty of notice. They used the same amount of bombs or missiles that the US used. In other words their response said “we don’t want to escalate this”

Yeah, I was thinking this too. I was like let him be great. 

Despite my participation, I do know the welcome he would have gotten if he tried so i can't fault him for this one.
