Magic and Muscles doesn't take itself too seriously for sure. But, if I had to come up with logical reasoning, powerful magic would probably require you to train your body to be able to handle it. Or at least have good stamina and cardio. 😄 1

Although, another possible explanation I didn't think about till just now, but maybe it's not that the enemies are so tough so much as maybe Mash is just cranking down his power when directly attacking people so he doesn't go and like accidentally murder someone. Kind of like how Superman has to reign in his power for fear of going too far someday and killing someone. 2
