1pooh4u
Tahlequah the Orca made famous in 2018 (maybe 2017) for keeping her dead calf afloat for 17 days is in mourning again. Observers of Tahlequa or J35 have said her newborn calf was looking unwell days before it died. She has been seen, once again, keeping her dead calf afloat, which appears to be a mourning ritual for J35 https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/orca-carrying-dead-calf-tahlequah-killer-whale/

Wouldn't be a bad idea though if a zombie apocalypse were to happen. Worked pretty well for The Whisperers from The Walking Dead... for a while. Maybe the orcas sense one coming. Better get the bunker ready.

If there are zombie orcas, that would imply they'd be able to enter fresh water, and possibly waddle across land due to being undead. I don't think any bunker or Diety could protect you from zombie Orcas 1

discolé monade
“Alaska’s practice of indiscriminately strafing predators is both inhumane and inane,” Steiner told the outlet. “There is no scientific evidence that this carnage will boost populations of moose and caribou, and there is a growing body of evidence that it disrupts a healthy predator/prey balance in the wild.” seemed like the best spot for this story.
katt_goddess
Killing all the predators in an area is poor conservation, end of story. Without a natural balance, herbivores like moose and deer overpopulate their areas and then starve out or get diseases like ticks and mange that love a crowded environment to hop around in. And ticky/mangey animals are not food animals for people so that ruins that as well. 1

I personally am not into hunting but most avid hunters are also conservationists. They want the animals plentiful and healthy so they can hunt them. Not drive them to extinction.

discolé monade
it's all part of the design. force people to drive back to work. remove renewable resources, so that the country can become a wasteland of rigs, and drills. lol people do not want to work in the fields... i can't wait to see who they get to refine the oil to gas.
