Hopefully will get to start watching and catching up on this ep and the rest of the eps tomorrow night in time for next week.

Okay after this episode this whole squabble in the town feels more worth bothering with but there’s just 3 episodes left now and they’re gonna have to do a lot in those to feel like this season wasn’t just a prologue.

But this felt more like wrestling than any prior fight so that’s a step in the right direction.

Bernie Hulking out definitely feels like some Broly / Kaulifa memberberries though.

Was it just me or was the framerate in this episode noticeably less than in previous ones? There were whole stretches where it felt like a slideshow.

They decided, in their grand tradition of copying fighting anime that don’t involve wrestling, to copy the first season of Record of Ragnarok.

I don't get the writing either. They had something going with the girl going through it because her parents sucked, but then it ends with her just...vanishing, and nothing gets resolved. I don't think she's interesting enough to set up as a dangling plot thread for later.
