André Toulon
We are simple folks around here, and apparently no one wants to eat El Tap again....I don't really "like" BBQ so Swadley's, Rib Crip and Santa Fe are off the table, so we're left with these two as our choices for family dinner today. Both are basic AF, probably will get a burger or grilled chicken sammich....Just not sure which is bigger trash. Pick one.
André Toulon
Lol, apparently I use Crip more than crib in my lexicon.
Insipid
Chili's, but only very slightly. I think the fact that the last time I went to Applebee's was for a bad date may be affecting my decision too . . . oh well.

It's more of me doing stuff with my mom than enjoying the food. I'm actually not against the leftovers, but I'm proud of my wasteful children for eating the same thing for 3 days, so I know they need a break
UwPp
Applebee's for the cheapness, chili's for the deliciousness.

My daughter says Chili's has her loaded baked potato soup but AB has crappy taco soup...so I guess it'll be Chili's
discolé monade
who has the loaded fries? chili's is awful. here anyway. applebee's was JUST slightly above that ...but they closed down.
André Toulon
Loaded fries might be an option for me if they have them. Seriously, every time I walk into one I just default to grilled chicken sammiches... whichever has bacon. I had their fajitas once and the tortillas sucked, steak was tough and frankly burnt, the chicken was...it's chicken....the shrimp were ok, but when I order 3 meat fajitas, I want all of it to be good. I feel like they be grilling on the pasta tho....grilling in the southern urban colloquial sense meaning shortchanged...not actual grilling. scoobdog
I think we have like two or three Applebees in the entire metro region. There’s one in Lakewood that’s relatively new and I tried once: it was fine for what it is. I have to default to Chili’s only because there’s more here and the sample size is enough to pick the good ones from the bad ones.

Top Gun
Haven't been to Applebee's in ages since the closest one closed, and I'm not sure if I was ever in a Chili's. We used to do Friday's sometimes but that's all but dead.
SwimOdin
Applebees is shiiiiiiit. Not saying Chilis is even good, but it’s not a dumpster fire.
