I remember this opening and their one for the beginning of season 2 of Gundam 00 got me good at the time and ended up as regulars on my playlist.

Just looking through the list, crazy how many good ones they've had: MHA, Bleach, Promised Neverland, Blood+, The Heroic Legend of Arslan, etc.... damn!

I have to say I was extremely baffled when I heard Toonami would be bringing back Blue Exorcist.  The original promos gave off a tone more like Spawn, but it was yet another special school anime.  Has to be one of the most generic and underwhelming shows out there.

And it's a rerun and not new episodes, on top of that?  Maybe they get some new episodes after this, though it will take a while to get through the first season.  They still don't have to continue/bring back something just because it was on Toonami before.

Then again, the fact this got so many more seasons is even more baffling.

But, there's a lot worse shows they could have brought back, I suppose.  This show doesn't piss me off, it's just kind of blah.

I wonder how the following seasons handled the first season's diverging from the manga.

They ignore everything after about episode 16 or 17 and pick up more or less right from there. The divergence was huge.

Which considering how much I enjoy Lucifer in Hazbin Hotel seems silly in retrospect but 10 years ago I thought that plot was so stupid and wasn't going to sit through more. I'll probably finish the anime original episodes this time if they run the whole thing.

satan has been evil all along, but isn't so bad because he fell madly in love being the final twist of the show was stupid as all hell.

I barely remember anything about this show at all it's been so long since it was on before, so I if they are getting any other seasons of it soon really good idea for them to run the first one again like this.
