While I would be happy to see this anime on Toonami, the main thing holding Twisted Wonderland back is its reliance on existing Disney characters. As such, if this show were to see a cable debut, it would be to prop up a Jetix revival instead. But I do understand your point of view, and support your cause either way. 1 Quote
Jman Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Warner is not going to host a Disney show. Anyway, best case scenario is Bleach lasting till Get Jiro is ready. I doubt Undead Unluck or Sand Land are affordable at this point. 2 Quote
KageRageX Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I could see Naruto and Sailor Moon expiring bringing about the Lazarus sub and likely another show (whether it's Dr. Stone, Fire Force, Lycoris Recoil, Mashle, Demon Slayer or MHA, or even a original like Supes, Primal or Jiro remains to be seen)... Hopefully the double OP is gone by then. 1 Quote
Mr. Idea Box Posted May 17 Author Posted May 17 So, when could we see the June schedule reveal? Odds are it's announced next week. Quote

Unless Sailor Moon or Naruto is expiring and being pulled, there is nothing to reveal. The schedule won’t have any changes till the first week of July when Lazarus ends. Tomorrow night the schedule for the first Saturday of June will populate on the official schedule. Quote
Toonamiguy321 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Well, on the topic of June, the schedule for 6/7 comes up blank. The previous Saturday lands on 5/31, exactly one year on the money when Rewind started. And that schedule is up. No shows end on 6/7, and there is no logical reason for a marathon that night. So the most educated guess here is that Sailor Moon and/or Naruto are shipping out for good after their one year contract expires. As for what they fill the time with? Who knows. Plenty of original trash in the archive they can use. Quote

Plenty of original trash in the archive they can use. I was kinda sure May 31st would be the last day of Naruto and Sailor Moon. If anything, I'm just glad they didn't skip the same arc they did last time the kitsune ninja aired this recently. Although I will definitely miss seeing the latter on television. As for what can fill their slots? I think I'll go with the safe prediction that one of them is going to be subbed Lazarus. The other slot is a mystery, unless they're blowing their entire One Piece load this early. Which I hope isn't the case. Quote
Sketch Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Honestly was starting to look like Naruto if not also Sailor Moon would stick around but they did start airing on May 31st so they can still air on May 31st even if it's technically June 1st by the time they do air. Best case scenario, they actually have another acquisition to either stick at 1 or 1:30 and One Piece takes the full 2AM hour followed by Lazarus Sub. If they do that then we're better than BACK we're STACK, at least until Lazarus ends. 1 Quote
Toonamiguy321 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 So it’s the end of the day now, and 6/14 remains blank. Last week, the schedule updated around noon. So it seems like whatever is happening on 6/14 is going forward. Quote
Toonamiguy321 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 As expected, there will be a marathon on 7/5 As not expected, they are going with MAWS S2 Quote

Top Gun Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Was hoping it might be a precursor to concrete season 3 news, but nope, of course it's a tie-in to whatever new movie they've crapped out. 1 Quote

That, and this is being held the day after the 4th of July, and nothing says "willingly blowing up chunks of America" like the Last Son of Krypton. 1 hour ago, Toonamiguy321 said: I don’t care about taking the 5th off, but I hope we don’t have to do another marathon for the second half of Lazarus. Mr. Idea Box Posted June 21 Author Posted June 21 So, what do you think would be the new headliner for July? The safe option would be Daima, but I wanna know if there's anything else that would fit. Rooster Fighter, maybe? Quote

No originals are ready, we would have heard something by now. Get Jiro was shown to still be in the production stages at Annecy, and we haven’t heard a thing about Rooster Fighter or MAWS S3 since their original announcements. And I don’t think there are any acquired titles they would place above a Dragonball show. So most likely scenario is our current lineup slides up 30 minutes, and Lazarus reruns get parked at 3am. 1 Quote
OwlChemist81 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago And there it is... Oh, wait a minute!! Holy cow, it's a full night of SUBTITLED Lazarus, and it starts at 11 PM! Hopefully they keep THAT start time going on 7/19, like so... 11 PM MAWS S3 11:30 DB Daima 12 AM Bleach TYBW 12:30 Blue Exorcist Kyoto Saga 1 AM One Piece ×2 2 AM Naruto 2:30 Sailor Moon 3 AM Lazarus SUB 3:30 Ninja Kamui SUB Outside Toonami... 4 AM Futurama ×4 Quote
Toonamiguy321 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Oh wow, they are actually sacrificing a night of primetime ratings to squeeze the whole Lazarus run in. We got a lot of weeks worth of double One Piece to pay back, so we shouldn’t be too surprised. 1 hour ago, OwlChemist81 said: Hopefully they keep THAT start time going on 7/19, like so... 11 PM MAWS S3 Why do I see so many people think MAWS S3 is a possibility when it hasn’t had any teasers, promos or discussion of any kind since being announced? They aren’t gonna just drop it on the schedule, we are gonna know about it many months before it goes on air. Quote
Jman Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago MAWS S3 likely will not air until Superman is on HBO Max. Think October. Quote

Yes, Ninja Kamui is greenlit up to Season 3, and Superman and Daima do fit the 11 PM slot by American standards, but we still have a One Piece debt to pay after this. Don't be surprised to see all of November and December as marathon months. However, if your prediction comes true for the July schedule, I will eat my gym socks. Quote
