I feel like 10 years ago they would have left it as a cliffhanger. You don;t see that anymore.

Yeah they totally would have made us sit on it for a week.

Shouldn't really need to rest in there but whatever lol, maybe in the moment this soon maybe it's comfortable at the moment or something...

At least she's getting sleep without the muzzle in there for the first time.

Nezuko can still shrink?

Why would you provoke Haganesuka like that, Kotetsu?!

More training?!

So are the masks for further secrecy?  But why do they have to look so stupid?!

Pretty sure the blindfold and nose plugs are pointless now.  The demons already found the place.  What are they gonna do about that, by the way?

I don't see why they wouldn't in cases like this. Maybe because the manga is available and there's no real mystery. Still I think it would create a lot of interest. I know I'd tune in to see the resolution if they kept it ambiguous.

Well, this episode was double length.  If it was split in two, the Nezuko cliffhanger would've been resolved in the second episode.

Yup, very cool this show gets these extended premieres and finales.

Any idea why it's done like that with this series?  It's different but not really a bad move, and I'm glad Toonami is able to program around it.

Of course, it means the seasons end sooner heh.

My guess is because it makes the finale more event programming.  Not to mention when they run it back as part of those theatrical previews, you don’t feel jipped watching.

Not sure how next season will handle the finale though given that the Infinity Castle arc will be a movie trilogy.

And now, the long-awaited ANN review:

https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/demon-slayer-kimetsu-no-yaiba-swordsmith-village-arc/episode-11/.199362

Yeeowch! Although if you ask me it was still the strongest show in Toonami's "Night Of Finales", they finally told us about like 30 minutes after the fact after DBZ Kai and leading-in to R&M: Samurai & Shogun. Should have been a special opening, but AT LEAST they did THAT!

BONUS: Interesting discussion on this season as a whole...

Now we wait until 2025 for Hashira Training...
