Oh yeah, I'm sure that neighbor is totally harmless.

Dead already?  Well OK then.

Of course this guy I'd a creep.  Growing horns all over his body?

LOL the kid that got hit by the car?

Why does everybody want to fuck with Kirie?

That was fortuitous. Seriously, that girl has the devil's luck. How many times has she narrowly escaped death now? I think I've lost count.

Presumably the narrator too! Now that I think about it, not sure though, haven't seen enough of the dub yet to really tell if it's supposed to be the same voice.

I can overlook a lot of animation problems if the story is decent, but I cant support 4 episodes after 5 years.

Best money Demarco ever spent. 😄

It's not episode 1 good but this was much better than episode 2. I can live with this if episode 4 is at least as decent as this one or better.

This whole twisted town love Kirie it seems.

Babies talking right out of the womb certainly was creepy, wanting to go back in is even creepier but the doctor performing a reverse c section? A very happy un-birthday.

I agree, excluding that screencap of the girl with no hand, this episode didn’t have any blatantly shitty animation. It’s still a downgrade, but I think had this been episode 2, the outrage wouldn’t have been nearly as loud. Demarco was too quick to throw this under the bus to cover his own ass.

That said, if we weren’t bitching about animation, we would have our full focus on the awful pacing and structure. Just take the end of the episode for example.

1. The neighbor guy turns into a spiral monster and attacks the family

2. After a short chase he is blown away by the wind?

3. Immediately pivot to new story, Jack in the Box has returned

4. Does absolutely nothing but show up and fall apart

5. Upon seeing a seemingly dead person reappear and attack you, a person you watched willingly walk in front of a car for your sake, Kirie barely reacts at all

6. Cut to credits episode over

It’s a mess. It feels more like a comedy than a horror show

I actually DID laugh a few times while watching this twisted mess last night! The dude bouncing on the spring made me LOL!

Sometimes this show feels less like true J-Horror and more like "Horror Comedy". 🤷‍♂️

They really shouldn't have tossed the Jack in the Box kid in at the end there, I know it's supposed to be a pay-off for the jump scare at the end of the 2nd episode but all he did was fall apart and then the scene was over. It was abrupt and pointless.
