chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream shouldn't also have chocolate chips in it. the chips should be confined to the cookie dough balls and not also in the ice cream, chocolate chips for ice cream have a very specific texture and i dont want that on top of the dough pieces.

also, the he-man themed meals at dennys, the mint chocolate chip ice cream on top of pancakes. if mint chocolate chip ice cream even looks at my pancakes there's gonna be a fight.

No idea if this is really unpopular or not, but I don't like what South Park did to Butters. When they first started featuring him more prominently, his extreme trusting nature and naiveté, his take everything in stride attitude, and overwillingness to help people made him South Park's best character. But I think starting with the episode where he goes to Hawaii, they gave him a hot temper and I just don't like it. Cartman has a hot enough temper for the whole show, we don't need other extreme hot heads, especially not at the expense of the best character.

I’ve been in a shit situation so I’ve been watching the Comedy Central marathons...

The Nambla episode in particular made me wish Kenny’s dad was used in episodes more than Randy. I think what happens is they prioritize their own favorite characters to use over genuine character chemistry with the show. Stuart McCormick is not a name Trey & Matt would recognize beyond Comic Con.

It should be pretty well known by now that Metallica's black album was really watered down in terms of song writing, but what I don't think gets said is that it was also really watered down production wise. It has this reputation as having this massive sound and partly why it sent Metallica's popularity through the stratosphere.... But to me the guitar tone is just really weak.... Master of Puppets, on the other hand, has one of the all time best metal guitar tones on any metal album, and I think that's part of the reason why retroactively that has become Metallica's most popular album years after them "making it." Their first three albums all have fantastic songwriting but Master of Puppets nailed the production.

Undertaker vs. Sting isn't really the great dream match every claims it is. Undertaker most likely would go over and on paper it's not impressive. Now Sting vs. Shawn Michaels that's a more impressive dream match.

I've never been interested in collecting vinyl records. Would it be nice to have a vinyl collection? Yes, but is necessary? For me no because what's the point when all of my music is on 3 different phones two of which are brand new. I have all my physical cd copies and I still one of old broken down laptops that has all my music files. I just don't want to spend money on a record player and buying vinyl versions of the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of albums I already own.

As much as I would love to own the original SNES hardware and have hundreds games for it I prefer retro gaming on my mini consoles. All of which were hacked and roms added to them. Again I just don't want to spend the money on original hardware, cartridges and a CRT TV. What's the point when there's a more convenient way. I don't care old school authenticity I just want to play the games anyway I can.

Do you still buy CDs? From your post I'm not clear if you still buy them or if you were just talking about CDs you've had in your collection for years.

I'm still a big CD buyer. No interest in vinyl.

Nope, I stopped buying CDs in the summer of 2022. I'm pretty much done with buying music all together whether it's CDs or digital. I'm satisfied with what I have.
