I’m not qualified to comment but… the toilets in Japan are amazing!  They have seat warmers and music.  I’d sit in Japan too if I were a dude.  😂

Sitting at home makes some sense, even with good aim splashback can still happen which is gross

But in a public restroom I sure aint sitting down if I can help it unless it's dire situation where I have to shit really bad

Some urinals better designed than others though maybe we need some standards to be set

I thank my lucky stars every time I'm in a public restroom that I can stand up and pee. 

If the situation comes where I need to sit down in a public restroom, it's gonna be a photo finish and I won't even have time to clean it up beforehand so pissy booty it is. As an adult, I fully prepare to not have to shit until I get home.
