(Apparently, that's what it says on Lipton tea bags, anyway.) And I know you're trying. But drink it for you, not for me. I'm preparing myself for my cat to pass because she's super old now. One of my favorite pets growing up was a cat named Sue Sue. Mom and Dad had gotten her before they even got married. (She even had a brother they named Smaegol, named after the very same character who turns into Gollum in Lord of the Rings, but he died before I was even born.) She was quite a character for a cat. Incredibly fiesty, too. Born on Valentines Day of all days. She lived to be 17 years old. She would've lived to be longer if it hadn't have been for our jackass of a neighbor constantly letting his dogs roam wild around the neighborhood. (They got a hold of her and, well, killed her. These were dickhead dogs.) We all got pretty emotional over it. My brother Teddy and I cried and my mom sobbed almost uncontrollably. We all really loved that cat. 2

Omg this same exact things happened to my other cousins' family dog. A little sheltie, like those miniature collies. Their neighbor had two rottweilers and apparently abused them. They let their dog out to do her business like they did everyday and the two rottweilers literally broke through the wooden fence and murdered their dog. They reported the neighbors, dogs were taken away and they got fined for animal abuse. Ugh, sorry if we're bringing anyone down here. If I ever have a kid, I'm making sure he or she is raised to be respectful of everybody until they give them a reason to not be respectful. To be mindful that one doesn't completely know what another is going through just by appearance alone. I'd teach them to, just like the Tim McGraw song (and for lack of a better phrase), always be humble and kind.
