Ugh, Whataburger is just slighly above McDees for me....Their cheese is terrible....It's familiar but I can't place where I've tasted it....Feels like on something frozen.

Their fries are good, but I'm not a fry eater....I usually grab a few and give them to my daughter because she's a potato monster.

It doesn't help the the one in town is always packed and is the only thing besides Ihop thats open 24/7 here so 3am munchis will have you sitting in line fore an hour for a shitty burger....And yes, this is a Casino town....It's always packed at 3am

That sucks, dude. The Whataburger locations down here are really good. Their chili cheeseburger is good. (And their beef is supposed to be fresh, from what I understand. I do know, however, that some locations can be notorious for cutting corners. And that goes for any fast food chain.) I literally have three within a seven mile radius of my house; the one closest to me, however, is my favorite of the three.

You're gonna hate me for this, but the town where I live has a twenty-four hour Subway literally within a thousand feet of my house. (But I drive to it, especially at night, because I'm usually getting food for myself and other people who live here. Otherwise, I'd walk and eat there, then walk back home during the day if I had all the time in the world.) It's a nice choice when I want to eat a little healthier o I'm in the mood for meatball marinara. Plus, the people there are always friendly so that's a huge plus.

Oh....We DO have a 24 hr Subway in a truck stop across town....I just never remember it because there is no fucking way I'm paying truck stop markup for week old Tuna.....At least that's how it looks.  I do know it can't possibly be a week old, but my point is, their food looks fucked over.

Yeah, I understand. I'm better off going to Jersey Mike's or even, parish the thought for some people, JimmyJohn's. The only problem is neither one is open 24 hours. They'd make a killing if they allowed some locations to do that.

You past the COVIDz now?   All good, no lasting effects?  I got it early on before it wide spread, at one point I forced myself out of bed thinking I had pneumonia in my lungs and if I didn't get up and move around that would be the end of me, then I got better.  Well, I got better, worse and THEN better.

I'd be pretty bothered too.  I'm one of those ppl that will get in the mood for something and not be satisfied until I get it, weeks, months...ehhhhh maybe not years.

I lost my sense of smell for a while but not taste so I had a little fun with that. I guess those two senses aren't connected with each other in my brain. :D But I have lingering damage to one kidney, my liver, my heart and lung capacity has been compromised. Healing is being ridiculously stunted right now - I shouldn't have this many systems in trouble at the same time. It allows an opening for more opportunistic issues to crop up.

I get food cravings for things I know I can't eat because they'll really make me sick. I haven't had Taco John's potato oles since ~2001 and I still crave those stupid tator tots. But I'll lose 10 pounds on the toilet in a single sitting if I eat even one.

Interesting to know about yourself!

That is a lot.  Get sick once and your entire lifestyle has changed.  I'm constantly reminded how lucky I was, assuming there's nothing unseen wrong. My two cousins have similar complication from getting it, both the liver.

WE ALWAYS CRAVE THE THINGS WE CAN'T HAVE!!! 😫

Tell me about it. ;)

I mean, what? Seriously, I'm afraid I've gotten to the age where I need to start worrying about my salt intake, yet I can't stay away from sunflower seeds.

You're seriously addicted to those, aren't you...

Sadly, yes. I wish my older brothers had never introduced me to them when I was 5. I'd be much better off. (Of course, it's better than using chewing tobacco.)

Probably.  I really like the chocolate covered kind, but they're kind of expensive to have around all the time.

I can eat roasted unsalted peanuts with no problem. Raw peanuts, however, just taste weird as hell.

Taco Bell isn't bad, but man, the morning after is bad news.

Okay so I am having fast food for the first time in like a week now, and I have gotten McDs!

Chicken sandwich with pickles, large fries, a Filet-O-Fish and a cheeseburger.

Lawd have mercy on my stomach!
