3ngag3 Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 (edited) Episode 80: From You, 2000 Years Ago In the paths, where Ymir resides, Zeke traps Eren and forces him to see the memories of his father. Eren, in response, plays his reverse Uno card and reveals that, through the Attack Titan's power, daddy can see glimpses of his son convincing him that violence is not the answer. Violence is the question and the answer is yes. Surely, with an episode title that calls back to the title for the very first episode in the series, nothing major is going to happen, right? Right? DangerMouse Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 "Nothing is going to go the way you hoped. Eren is going to get everything he wants."
AnimationFan14 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 The soundtrack knows this episode is about to get wild 1
CorbeauKarasu Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 glimpses into the future. like when Officer Eren said, do it for Mikasa and Armin, whoever they are 1
DangerMouse Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Looked like Eren just kicked Zeke out of the vision.
CorbeauKarasu Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 if you believe eren has to be stopped, then why even do what eren told you? 1
ben0119 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 If this show didn't already jump the shark with the MEMORY WIPE and other nonsense, it certainly has now with the time travel. I never thought the show would get to this point. 1
CorbeauKarasu Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 when he made physial contact with the royal queen

DangerMouse Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 You sure seem confident at the moment Zeke, for someone who just got their mind blown repeatedly. 1
ben0119 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Whatever this poor man's Linkin Park song is, is pretty cringe. 2

ben0119 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 So after that Ymir is still going to sterilize all the Eldians?

It's a sign the author has run out of ideas and is just throwing shit to the wall to see if anything will stick. 2

ben0119 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Random Historia flashback. A little cutie. And now what is this ancient history of?
DangerMouse Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 (edited) The girl in Historia's book. Hmmm, Ymir history time? Edited March 13, 2022 by DangerMouse
Daos Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 I can't take any more flashbacks. Has any show ever had any more flashbacks than AOT? This has to be a record. 2

3ngag3 Posted March 13, 2022 Author Posted March 13, 2022 So, this whole thing started because a girl lost some pigs and the adults needed to save face.

DangerMouse Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 (edited) The first Titan just as we previously learned in "legends from other characters" now for real. Edited March 13, 2022 by DangerMouse

ben0119 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 So the Titan power came from a random cave spring? Why is she still helping the King when she could do whatever he wants? So the Eldian history really is true. That's... an unfortunate choice by the author. But it still doesn't justify persecuting the current generations of Eldians for something they had nothing to do with.
3ngag3 Posted March 13, 2022 Author Posted March 13, 2022 And now we know how the Titan phenomena started. Tree worm.
