CountFrylock
this mystique around the block has got to stop if it's just gonna be something mundane and boring like "Double Yashahime!" two weeks in a row
PokeNirvash
My reply to that very tweet sums my thoughts on this up thusly.

It’s not even a change from the November 20th lineup so I don’t expect there to be a Facebook post about this.
OwlChemist81
Not even a peep about this from Toonami Faithful on Twitter. 🤷🏻♂️
Blatch
If nothing else, I'm happy they're airing a mostly-normal lineup for Thanksgiving weekend. Now the question is whether they'll do one on December 18, and I don't think they will.

That’s a whole week away from Christmas and you can be sure they’ll preempt the next 2 weeks. Although I tend to question the need to not air on 1/1 as the holidays are over then

If they start a new show (or two) on December 4th then I think they'll run the regular lineup for 3 weeks in December but if they have to stall until January then they're probably going to take December 18th off. They are going to run out of YashaHime season 1 episodes if they keep double stripping it and if they have absolutely nothing... they either have to throw on another rerun or start doubling up Shippuden on December 4th. If they don't run the regular lineup on December 18th they might still start the night with a new Black Lotus. I've been thinking they might promote The Matrix: Resurrections by airing The Animatrix or maybe even one or more of the live-action films since Blade Runner 2049 is setting that precedent. They could potentially do that on a Friday though, if WarnerMedia wants them to shill for that. Jessica Henwick the actress of Elle is in The Matrix: Resurrections, so they might tie that into an event with an exclusive interview or preview. They could of course do a clip or interview during a regular Toonami block rather than during a movie night but either way I would be a bit surprised if they don't use that connection to cross-promote both. OwlChemist81
It's completely bizarre, but I think it's quite possible at this point we see a 3-episode Season 1 finale of Yashahime on December 4/5th, followed by a 3-episode premiere of The Second Act on December 11/12th! PokeNirvash
Please god no, I am not going to go the rest of the year without even a painfully obvious show announcement!

Nah they’ll double up Shippuden before they triple YashaHime.

ben0119
So why is Yashahime doubling up? You telling me they had all this time to prepare, knowing shows were ending, and not only didn't have a deal for a new show done well ahead of time (as they should), but don't have one ready even now? This reminds me of when they didn't know rights were expiring to shows they had. I don't mind watching two episodes of Yashahime, as I enjoy the show, but if this continues, they're going to run out of dubbed episodes, and then they will have to replace two shows! Also filling one of the slots with Fena reruns (LOL if they think we're going to watch that again) is weaksauce.

EmpressAngel
For the love of god please don't make me watch double Yashahime again after this.
PokeNirvash
My method for dealing with double Yashahime is DVRing both, watching the first one day, and the second another day. It might not work for everyone, if you either prefer live-watching or lack a DVR, but it's an option.
