Rogue_Alphonse Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 After a month of prepping (and a vacation thrown in to delay things a week), my free RV did a 35 mile drive Mostly without issue. We're gonna pretend we didn't smell burning brake pad from a stuck caliper. It hadn't been on the road since 2015. So far all I have put in to it was a $27 fuel pump and four almost new tires for $220. The shop even mounted them for free! (excuse the potato FB Marketplace photo). 1

katt_goddess Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 I've never seen the show and yet I somehow think you might like to borrow this - 2

(well... it's on my parents' property so they can do whatever with it, they'll probably leave it for when friends come for a weekend or whatever) Either way it has served me, and them while they renovated their house, quite well... even in the winter. 1

The plan is to get a wood decked car trailer and pull my Jeep on it, and then when I park up, use the Jeep to back the trailer in against the RV so I have a deck to walk out on to. I even have a pull-out step from a pop-up I cut up to attach to it
Rogue_Alphonse Posted September 1, 2021 Author Posted September 1, 2021 Some progress: Yanked wet carpet, installed RV dryer 9000. The floor has dried out almost totally. 1
Real_AirCooledGirl Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Hope the new decor gives this RV some drip.
Rogue_Alphonse Posted September 2, 2021 Author Posted September 2, 2021 It should, it's gonna be a home for me at some point. 1
