Probably, but not necessarily.... I don't think Luanne the character ever died, even though her VA did. One option, since this is set pretty far in the future from the original series, is to have another VA voice her.... or she could be written out of the show somehow.

Oh yeah, Tom Petty who voiced Lucky is also dead.... maybe Hank and Peggy could raise the orphan child, maybe the kid is about the same age Bobby was in the original series.

It's more likely that Judge will have Luanne and Lucky move out of Arlen to avoid the risk of pissing off the audience by killing them off, like how the Simpsons handled Ms. Krabappel after Marcia Wallace's passing.

I think that's a bit much. At least re-cast Luanne and Lucky with new voice actors.
