Also another thing I've noticed is that each of the royal family seem to have their own vanity of sorts. Silva's have unique hair styles, Mimosa's family do perfume, and the vermilion's use eyeliner.

That really doesn't help explain things.  But this series is even more fucked up than I thought.  Glad I never watched any of it.

Of course, it originated from a porn visual novel, so.

 I don't think I'd consider the LN porn, in the same way that I don't consider King of Thrones or Dracula porn. There is sex, if you can muscle through like 60hrs of dialogue and pick the right options. The anime however leaves a lot of that stuff out. Except for the spinoff Fate/Illya Prisma those are very ecchi. The series more focuses on epic battles.

Oh I see. 

Still, what you described about the origin of that Mordred character sounds extremely demented.  Granted, Mordred was already a product of incest in the original story (which is why he was a cursed/evil child,) but still.

Add this to my "stuff I never wanted to know about the Fate series but can't unlearn" pile!

Though I guess it only makes sense if you're gonna genderbend the main patriarch of the Camelot legends. But still, they could have just as easily made Morgana male and had him impregnate Arturia to give birth to Mordred. She's pretty much inconsequential so that would make more sense than having Merlin genderbend Arturia back just so she could have a son!

Looked at like that, I guess you might say Toonami picked up the better franchise about magic, and it's more friendly to rights issues since it's just one big linear show instead of a myriad of spinoffs!

They still have established in Fate that Saber was a Virgin. Guess otaku don't like the idea of their waifu being sullied goods. 

Oh yeah there is no way in hell the fate series would make sense to the majority of people for toonami. Even the series that are meant to compliment each other do so rather loosely with what series they borrow from. The only one that would probably do well is UBW since it's a movie and is fairly concise. However it also is expecting that you have watched Stay/Night at times as they're both in the same universe just different route options.  Hell I think just the Railgun/Magical Index/Accelerator series would be too confusing for a majority of Toonami's viewing audience because of watch orders and timelines.  Black Clover you really don't have to use your brain at all to watch. They even recap the entire origin of the Demon and Wizard King every episode in case you've forgotten. The problem with Black Clover aside from Asta doing nothing but screaming through the majority. Is that it had a very overused character goal and took for fucking ever to actually find it's footing. I think the Vetto fight might have been when it actually began to get interesting and that was like 45 episodes in. I find it hard to recommend shows to people when they take their sweet time to get going. You really could just watch the episode where Asta gets accepted into the Black Bulls then skip to the sea temple arc and wouldn't have missed anything because they are still constantly reintroducing characters and the plot thus far.
