dentist appt. tomorrow..

I had some fillings done yesterday. Feels like they cut the hell out of something, but I have a higher pain threshold than most, so hard to relate to it being painful to chew. Worst was still the impacted wisdom teeth. I had two root canals, but the wisdom teeth one was by far the worst because I had a sadist for a dentist at the time and he pulled em without me being fully numb. Though the recovery was fine since the pain from that was secondary to the pain I had from them being impacted.

i have a pretty high tolerance to pain as well.

i had all 4 wisdom pulled in boot camp, also, not completely numb.

and one of them had to be hammered and chiseled out. he even went so far as to brace one foot on the chair and pulled.

good times.

i actually like going to the dentist. this is my 6 month cleaning and check up. hopefully she fills the filling.

I finally finished my dental ordeal a couple weeks ago

Well until my wisdom teeth grow in some more. The dentist was quick af but I guess he's been doing it forever so he kinda rotates around patients like a hairdresser

a couple months ago, the boy child had a molar that started coming in, he said it hurt a little, and he could feel something, but, didn't think much of it,

a day later, he gum/cheek had kind of grown over the  tooth, had to take him as an emergency. the boy was in there for less than 10 minutes,

dentist just lasered out the meat. good as new.

interesting thing about the boy, he had shark teeth. that is, his permanent teeth were behind his baby teeth

for a couple weeks, like a shark, he had a row or second teeth. kind of neat really.

I made a thread sometime back about my wisdom teeth, how one of mine is starting to come in.

I made an appt for next Thursday but I was thinking about cancelling it. I have a lot going on right now, me trying to buy a house, and other things going on. And as far as the tooth goes, I honestly forgot it was even there since there's no pain or discomfort, and I think for now it stopped growing. Will look into it down the line, but for now I should save the money. I already dropped $500 on a home inspection, and I have another $500 fee to pay soon.

My brother had that, but he had 3 rows of teeth. We even called him a shark.  Him and I have an odd genetic trait where we'd grow more than just baby and adult sets of teeth. I guess our grandfather also had this, but it must skip a generation. I don't really know if there is a limit to the number of teeth we can grow back, so I don't really feel like testing my luck with it. Odd though that my wisdom teeth didn't try to grow back in.

well, it was just a cleaning. but i have 2 fillings that are falling out, so i have to make that appt.

the tech was like 'hopefully they can do both' i'm like...um, i'm not making 2 different appts. to replace fillings.

she was nice...but OMG so slow. a cleaning took over an hour.

we talked about her cat blacky, *she was embarrassed that she named her cat blacky as a kid*

we talked about her dog that she's taking on a date today, because her fiance has to work

all the while i sound like 'mah mjjm mah mmmmah'.

i love getting my teeth cleaned.

I spent just an hour in the waiting room. My appt was at 1 and I didn't get out of there till 4:35. Not to mention I had to make another appt for another filling they couldn't do for some reason. I guess it would be dumb to say that going to the dentist is like pulling teeth.

My dentist is pretty good, but she keeps making fun of me because I can't keep my tongue out of the way.  It's always like, "Whatcha doin' over there, huh? Lemme see! Lemme see!" :pokepoke:

same.

she's also impressed at how wide i can open my mouth.

*inb4 whoever starts....*
