but the idea of them holding each other as men, made them all sick. which is homophobia

Why is that homophobic?  Maybe they dont want to hold other dudes.  Doesn't make them homophobes.  Or maybe Senku doesn't want to hold (probably) smelly Magma.

Also, fun fact, Saturn shouldn't have rings this far in the future....Nasa has discovered it's Rings are slowly vanishing

Not that quickly.  Though I just heard that they're young (relatively speaking,) not that they wouldn't last long.

but would they be gone in just 4 millennia? humans have to have been observing saturn for longer than that and its rings did't just appear one day

maybe you could make the case that senku and magma didn't want to hold each other specifically, but that's kind of flimsy, given the way all three of them showed disgust. the "not wanting to hold other dudes" is a homophobic sentiment, even if senku, magma, and chrome later show themselves to be LGBTQ-friendly/respectful/accepting. it's the same way that people who don't actively subscribe to racist thoughts and concepts can say racist things and participate in institutionalized racism. if it were a male and female character threatened with holding each other or two female characters, the mutual disgust angle wouldn't have been an issue (except if one of the women were to express the fear that her companion is gay, which would have been decidedly obvious homophobia, which, given Japan, is certainly something i've seen in anime). the "i don't want to hold another dude!" mentality stems from the idea that it's inherently gross for men to be physically intimate with each other, which is a longstanding, entrenched homophobic idea that's been drilled into our culture.

I mean it can just be their personal preference.  Me, I'm not the type that likes to be the kind of touchy-feely kind of person.  I'm also socially awkward.  I wouldn't want to hug someone unless they were maybe a family member or significant other.  I don't think I'd want to hug my male friends, and they certainly wouldn't want to hug me.  I don't think I've even hugged my own brother.  Just because Senku and Magma don't want to hold each other, doesn't mean they don't think any two guys, friends, father and son, brothers, boyfriends, or whatever, shouldn't.  Though, it might be a stretch to say all three of them have the same personal preferences as I do when it comes to physical contact.  I took it more as Senku and Magma aren't exactly fond of each other, so they wouldn't want to hold each other.  But all three of them had the same reaction, you're right.  I dunno'.  We'll have to see if this topic, or any gay characters pop up, and how things might happen in the future, to see how the author handles things later on.  But yeah I can see how that could come off bad.  But I took it more as them not liking each other and being juvenile.
