I just go to best buy and get a new one for $10 every couple of years. Buy an expensive razer keyboard and mouse. Pay the $10 2 year warranty. Get's close to 2 years, go back to best buy tell them it's not registering an input correctly. Pick out a new keyboard, pay another $10 for a 2 year plan on it repeat.

Lol It cost me five fucking dollars on my whole build when I bought it and the back light was faint out of the box. You are shitty for telling another person what to do with their keyboard honestly. I might jizz on this bitch just to prove my point. Wait. I would never do that... shit/🤐

Don't really understand your comment.  I wasn't talking about your keyboard.
The person I replied to is abusing a policy by lying because they're too lazy to clean a keyboard.

Spend about the same on canned air and cleaning shit. Just easier to pay for the service and get brand new every year or two. In the past I've never gotten more than 3 years our of a keyboard or mouse anyway with how much I use them. So either I spend $220 every 3 years, or spend that once then $20 ever 1-2 years. That latter makes far more sense to me.

Oh.. My bad. I thought you were talking to me, and I was being intentionally edgy or whatever because I don't clean out my computer equipment enough as a whole.

Man where I live combined with the fact my windows need replaced to provide better insulation means I get dust accumulation really easy. I can spend like 20+ cleaning out my shit, and I'll honestly have to spend that again in a month or less. :(

Yeah it gets costly cleaning out my PC's. I even bought a $275 air filter for my room to try help with the dust issue. I'm thinking about buying some cheaper $180 ones to put around the house. I'd suggest buying an air compressor with a regulator nozzle. You can find one for around $100. I had one I used to use that my brother borrowed then lent out to one of his garbage of humanity friends never to be seen again. He won't tell me which one because he knows I'll break their fingers until they tell me where it is. I'm guessing they must not have it since he offered to add it onto his tab he owes me which is now $1400. Though yeah dust removal can be a pain depending on where you live and how old your house is. I don't know what happened to my 2nd pc, but holy shit did it build up dust in 4 months. I had cleaned some pc's out that hadn't been cleaned in 2 years that had less dust in it than this. It was so bad I even replaced the stock cpu cooler and used like 2 cans of air just to clean out it's GPU and another can for the motherboard and PSU. I had never seen one fill up with dust that quick.

I've wanted one for a while honestly.. Not only does compressed air get expensive, but it's time consuming, and fucking counter productive most of the time since you have to hold the can straight.. Even taking shit I shouldn't have to apart it's hard to reach some places in my case without a can of compressed air failing to do the job or completely freezing up.

I'm eventually going to get an small electric duster.  It'll eventually pay for itself and it'll encourage me to clean out my computer more often.
