I realize that drawing it out could be "receiving" it, and I know that playing semantics is OP in Death Note, but it still felt pretty meh. Quote

Spoiler FUN FACT: His "do whatever, I don't care" statement was actually toned down from the manga, where he straight-up declared murder legal in the last moments he and everyone else assumed the Earth had before Inuyashiki and Shishigami did what they had to do.
