Yeah there's quite a bit of variety.. I've heard a lot of people say they love that one. I've always hated Xbox controllers though. I just downloaded this SNES emulator anyway, but it's pretty nice and I havent played with all the settings. I'm pretty good just using a keyboard anyway I'd wager. Just with this game you have to hold the run button while shooting to fire at 45 degree angle (side scroll style), and hit some bad guys. (It's Like the old Ninja Gaidens, but western shootem up)

Theres a lot of jumping on things, and dodging/sliding involved. Plus I was guessing all the keyboard controls even for the emulator options.. It doesn't bother me to learn new controller set ups or multiple setups for any game much though honeslty.. For some SNES titles I can see having atleast a USB SNES controller though. I'll wait 'till something actually pushes me to want one. :D

I messed around on this game with my bro on the NES Classic and it was fun, I should go back to it.

And how'd I forget The Lone Ranger when listing RPG/action-adventure stuff? I loved that game. It was one of the random NES games my grandma bought for me that really worked out well(unlike some others like X-Men and Dragon Power).

I just use my PS4 controller if I'm emulating games on PC.

Although now I have a 6-button Genesis controller that I'll try out if I do Genesis(or figure out how to get Saturn running)

I think you need to get the BIOS info to get it working, they usually come packed with every region.

I should've said running well, because I have emulated Saturn but it's very buggy and some games don't work at all. It's been years since I tried it but from what I can tell all the emulators you still have mount disc images and that's kinda a pain in the ass. I need to look more into all these multi-console emulators(Retroarch, Bizhawk, etc) that are around now.

Ah yeah, I forget what virtual drive I was using, my computer has been out of commission for a bit, more important things to spend money on other than a graphic card. Actually way down the list at the moment, might just build a new PC by the time that happens, I can probably improve the current setup significantly. Bah, life. Fed up with it a little at the moment.

I've never tried that honestly.  How would I go about that? I wouldn't figure it'd be as simple as plug and play or just obtaining the bios info.

Your PC should recognize the controller if you just plug it in and for it to perform well I'd suggest getting DS4Windows(free program). Before I had DS4W the controller mostly worked for SNES but diagonals on the dpad wouldn't register.

I only have one Dualshock PS4 controller, and I know if you use bluetooth it has to unpaired with the ps4 console then re-paired in the console settings before it can be used with the console again that way..  I'm curious now though.

Ah, I use it on PC with USB. That way in my experience it doesn't need to repaired with the PS4. (usually anyway, think I had to a few times over the many times I've used it on PC)

I remember you made a similar statement when we were discussing Cuphead being hard.  People playing it with a keyboard and such.

Is that honestly how you thought people played games on PC.

I don't know about stoned but a lot of people seem to think you can only play on PC with keyboard & mouse.

I saw the game in store a long time ago and passed on it because of the cover art. XD
