mochi Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 discuss. also we need a smiley for hard liquor by itself it tastes like Soy Sauce
GaiusIuliusCaesar Posted February 26, 2017 Author Posted February 26, 2017 Are they? The cocktails they're made with don't seem to be . . . I've had to specify what a real gin martini is when ordering them at restaurants due to the sheer number of fruit based abominations masquerading as a martini at restaurants and bars. Newsflash people the type of glass you use does not define a drink, its what you put in said drink. A martini is 3 parts gin to 1 part dry vermouth, with a stuffed olive to garnish. A Manhattan is 2 parts rye whisky, to one part sweet vermouth, with a dash of bitters and a maraschino cherry. If not for my grandfather I wouldn't know either drink exists.
GaiusIuliusCaesar Posted February 26, 2017 Author Posted February 26, 2017 by itself it tastes like Soy Sauce well duh don't drink that shit strait... also fun fact its fortified wine and it has a finite shelf life. A lot of people treat it like booze and wonder why it tastes gross. When my vermouth goes to vinegar I use it for cooking. It is properly stored in a refrigerator when opened.
André Toulon Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 It's a needlessly snobby way to reach an end.
GaiusIuliusCaesar Posted February 26, 2017 Author Posted February 26, 2017 How do you figure it's underrated? sorry I was distracted by questionable activities I'm currently streaming on tinychat, you should totally join, its bens room, only he's absent so I'm filling in.
