So that's what all the fuss is about...nvm there is another switch model coming out besides the switch lyte. The Lyte is basically the same system with a few more perks and designs... Is it really cheaper than the regular switch?

switch lite has permanent side controllers like a real handheld and no tv compatibility right? so i guess the question is if those things are worth the $100. if not, you did you a good.

Nope, I don't mind at all. I like that it's more portable.

You can't even dock the switch lyte to a tv according to this stuff. I have a nin switch already, and I'm not really impressed by these new updates so far.

that's why it's the "lite" model, the affordable version with less bells and whistles - like the 2DS was to the 3DS

Yeah I thought about comparing it to a Nintendo DS variation myself.. I get it. I just had a lot of friends and acquaintances hyping this shit up when it's about like I expected.

I almost got a lite instead of a regular one, but I just don't really get into handhelds anymore.

I probably should have waited for the v2 but whatever, the increased battery life isn't going to do much for me when I leave it docked basically all the time.

I find myself mostly playing my Switch handheld anyway. Let's me multitask with something else on tv.

But I still like the option, for some of the bigger games. I wouldn't really want to play BotW handheld (but I wouldn't really want to play BotW again anyway).

Its trifling taking the thing apart and putting it back together again anyway

That's easy, but it's too bulky to be a pure handheld system.

I already have a Switch but would consider this thing when it drops in price.

I still probably wouldn't have known unless Buddy told me about it....I rely on him for gamer news now....I just don't have the time....But when he speaks, I listen.
