Oh, whelp.  But if they aren't all past high school how are they going to this school?  Do they drop out of regular school or go to both at the same time and it wasn't mentioned?

It's Japan isn't it? You only go to High School if you're serious about education. Compulsory education ends at 15.

It's not like the US where you send every idiot to HS to piss away time until 18.

I'll post some Ikumi foodgasm goodness since she's the best and it's apparently from one of the OVAs so it'll never get on Toonami anyway, since they pretty much never air non-regular episodes.

Ikumi Strawberry Milk Foodgasm from Food Wars OVA 2. xD

Omake+Gif+Anime+-+Shokugeki+no+Soma+-+OV

If they're not an irregular length, I'd say they have a chance. Just depends on what Sentai wanted to do with their contract.

In general, that stuff is restricted so people have an incentive to watch the home video DVD/BD release. But it's kinda hypocritical that it never seems to end up on PAID STREAMING services, meaning they are forever somewhat inferior to physical media. For example, I've bootlegged the sub of Kill la Kill's 25th episode OVA, but I STILL haven't seen it dubbed!

Wait, he has to use the shitty vegetables that butt-munch provided!? But the short-haired dude DOES have a point with Megumi needing to redeem herself!

Grade: "A-". Kojiro's dish was a showstopper, inducing Sailor Moon-esque transformations in the judges, but what about Megumi and Soma's? I guess we'll find out next week in the first cour(se) finale?

P.S.: This show always makes me stupid hungry, even if I'm watching ludicrously late at night!

Yeah, and like the Attack on Titan ones, including the two eps of Levi's story (and the others like the Annie two-parter side story), are also just stranded on subbed-only standard def DVDs that only came with some of the manga despite how popular the show is.

A shame that those couldn't be put on the Funi blu-rays as extras in proper HD and been dubbed, like that FMA Brotherhood OVA collection.

That KLK ep 25 was kind of an extra finale epilogue too, if I remember, which was cool.

Legume Magician, really?

Also the process of making foie gras seems cruel.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foie_gras

By French law,[1] foie gras is defined as the liver of a duck or goose fattened by force-feeding corn with a feeding tube, a process also known as gavage.

Foie Gras is banned in some countries specifically because the process of making it is animal abuse

A couple of years ago there was that ScarJo movie Lucy which was based on the myth that humans only use 10 percent of their brains. It made eleven times its budget.

The moral of the story is no one does research about anything ever and they still makes fuckwads of cash.

Kinda makes you wonder how we lucked out into getting the Durarara!! OVAs, huh.

That deal was made by [as], not by Toonami, apparently.

I mean, they pretty much were one and the same, but I'm afraid that's all I've got.

Interestingly enough, Lupin the 3rd Part 4 aired for only 24 episodes in Japan, and had 2 OVAs, both of which we got!

Not that the show deserves it, but I re-watched the episode to see what was said about the whole legume thing, and also some other stuff I missed.

They said Kojuro went to France, where dishes are usually meat-based (I don't even know if this is true,) and made dishes focusing on legumes, and the people started calling him the "Legume Magician."  But it shows pictures of vegetables, and no legumes were in the thing he made this week.  The main ingredient was cabbage.  It's not claimed that cabbages are legumes, but he seems more like a vegetable guy in general than a legume guy specifically so I don't get the whole "Legume Magician" thing.

The thing he made sounds disgusting, by the way.

Oh and the Sailor Cabbage thing was hilarious!

Not sure what is confusing here, elfie.  The link I posted is how foi gras is made, and it's animal cruelty.
